It’s in a good location, close to the pedonale Breakfast was only from 9-10. I was looking forward to breakfast at the restaurant with a view. The take away breakfast was not good. I never saw any staff during my stay. Even when I checked in, no one was there. It does not seem like the hotel is a priority

I liked that everything seemed to be new, clean and the love to details was obvious :) Well working AC! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Also regarding the parking situation. I didn't see one guest of the Piccolo having trouble to park their car. The breakfast was great (little bit to much for me) and I can't think of anyone not liking it (nevermind if you are vegan, vegetarian, canivore...for everybody there is a suitable kind of food). The view while the breakfast is just stunning!

Breakfast location had a lovely view, the hosts were great. We had some unusual requests which they couldnt meet, but that was fine and they were very professional about it. Dont count on the supposed parking at site. Sure there's street parking, but it's one of these really narrow Berat streets (one way, but no sign to inform you of it) and when we visited there was no parking available either there or nearby, so we ended up parking at a place for 5€/night.

Excellent location. Considering the amount of hotels in that area that are not close to the center I think we did very well. The food in their restaurant was excellent. As well as the breakfast. Pillows could have been smaller but thats just me.

Beautiful views and great location. Owners were very friendly and provided an excellent breakfast. When we had to leave early before breakfast one day they made us food to take with us which was thoughtful Room was a little cramped

Hotel in the center, with easy walking access to the places to visit in Berat. Owner and staff in general very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, it looked new, with a free bottle of water and the breakfast was delicious, with food looking very good and made by them with love. The breakfast room has an amazing view of Berat. We loved our stay in Berat and the quality-price ratio is excellent, the price is low for the conditions offered. Nothing.

Comfortable beds, really friendly hotel staff, a great breakfast included with a fantastic view over Berat. The location is quiet but still a few steps from the centre. The family room is really tiny with just one window into the restaurant bar, so if you want to relax and escape from the heat in your room (which does have good A/C!) it is a bit cramped.

Good value for money, walking distance from the Castel and main areas, very good homemade breakfast served on the terrasse with a view on the citadel. Friendly staff :) No actual car park, you have to park in the street in front of the hotel, room a bit dark.

First I would like to talk about the hotel, because I know a lot of people write compliments to the restaurant. [•] The hotel is situated in a perfect place, in the city center but not on the loud and crowded main street. It will take you only 5 min walk to the main action at evening time. [•] A spectacular view from the top floor (restaurant floor) on the city castle (especially in the evening, when all lights are turned on). [•] Polite, respectful staff. The owner helped with navigation in the city and around the city. Also he was well informed about the war in Ukraine and showed his support. We really appreciate it. Faleminderit! [•] Breakfast was delicious and huge. You will definitely like it. [•] A big lounge zone on the second floor [*] And now about the restaurant: it was amazing. A great view, a delicious traditional Albanian cuisine. [×] It was a little bit strange to have a window with a view on the bar. I would better say - unusual. We thought it would be loud to sleep because of guests in the lounge zone, but everything was quiet after 11pm (as the owner told us). We had a nice quiet night. [×] A room is overcrowded with beds. Maybe putting two bunk beds would be better. [×] A sinkhole in a shower is a little bit stuck and it needs time for water to come out from the floor level.

Great place to stay. Brilliant host. Family run accommodation coupled with delicious meals. Best breakfast ever. The food was super good full of goodness and prepared with love for sure. Also ate at the restaurant. The food was exquisite and tasty and very reasonable. The views from the restaurant where breakfast is served is picturesque. Sergio and his family are a really friendly and cheerful. The ladies make very good pizza; almost similar to Napolitano pizza from Napoli. In a quiet area. Nothing. I am going to miss the breakfast.

I couldn't contact with the hotel after making the reservation, and they let me wandering through Berat with my family because the location released on Booking wasn't correct. I called them several times but no one pick up the phone and finally I decided to find another hotel.
