Dealing with the gate and room entry code was initially troublesome but turned fine in the end.

The house is in a good location, and it is nice from outside. That's it. Nothing else in good points. because there are a lot of mediocre points about. THE STAFF: ABSENT, MEDIOCRE, UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY, DISRESPECTFUL,, NON RESPONSIVE, CHEAP. DON'T COUNT ON THEM TO FIX ANY ISSUE. LET ALONE DURING WEEK-END. THEY ARE WORKING JUST TO MAKE MONEY, TAKING GUESTS AS JUST WALLETS ON LEGS; THE ROOM; DESPITE THE GOOD LOCATION, NICE AREA AND THE NICE HOUSE FROM OUTSIDE, INSIDE, IT IS QUITE POOR, AND EVEN CHEAP. FOR A ROOM OF A SUPPOSED 3 STARS PLACE, AT MORE THAN 100 EUROS, IT IS A COMMON ROOM LIKE YOU CAN FIND IN ANY CHEAP AND BASIC HOTEL, NOTHING LUXURY, THERE IS EVEN NOT A BOTTLE OF WATER, AND EVEN NOT A WARDROBE (SEE THE PHOTO ABOUT THE "WARDROBE"...). AND THE PHOTOS YOU CAN SEE ON BOOKING.COM ABOUT THE ROOM ARE A TRAP BECAUSE THE ROOM I'VE HAD WAS NOT ACCORDING TO THE PHOTOS I SAW ON THE WEBSITE. I DON'T RECOMMEND MAINLY CAUSE OF THE MEDIOCRE FALSE STAFF AND THE POOR FEATURES.

Great location for us between the old town and new town, in clean and well equipped suites.

Steps away from the Funiculare, the building itself is gorgeous, coffee+tea and a mini-fridge were helpful. There was no wi-fi available, the check-in process was rough, the sofa bed had several broken slats (which my daughter fell through), they only have 2 car parking slots at the property.

It was close to the funicular station. Where do I start.... couldn't access the room as instructions wasn't clear. Tried to call the hotel, could hear the phone yet noone would answer but they was texting? No resturant close by, we arriv3d late in the evening 9pm around the property was not very well lit.

Lovely spacious room, lovely bathroom. No check-in desk, make sure you do all the online check-in steps or you won't get a code to get through the gate! Ants in the bathroom is my only complaint

We could not close the room as their locking system was not working. There is no person attending the facility and can only communicate via WhatsApp or video. The room was also not clean a lot of dust and we found a Scorpio in the shower. The price 180 euros for a room that was not clean, a Scorpio in the shower and no real person to help with the broken door, I call this really poor service. No indication where to park (we paid an extra 15 euros for that) and cars where simply left in double row.Plus the fact that on the premise there is no assistance needs to be clear when you do the booking, I would not have paid that price

We only stayed for 1 night but the apartment was everything we expected. It's quite spacious and the bed was comfy. Even though it was in the basement, it quickly got warm and stayed warm through the night. Location is a big plus, Città Alta is just minutes away either by walking or taking a cable car. The check-in experience was a confusing mess. It's fully automated which should be straightforward but the process just didn't work for me. Before our stay, I got multiple messages from Vikey - a platform I thought the owners were using to manage their rental. I have uploaded all my documents, registered the car and checked in but didn't get access codes or confirmation. After arriving at the spot, I called the rental administrators multiple times to get inside the apartment. I was asked to upload my documents and check in with yet another platform. After a few more calls, messages and paying for parking and city tax, I finally got my check-in accepted and access codes were sent to me. This took over an hour, thankfully I had the car to sit in on a rather cold day. I have no idea why the correct link to the correct platform was not sent to me before I called and asked for it. I then learned from one of the people I talked to that Vikey is their old platform and they're no longer using it - yet I still got messages from that platform and uploaded my sensitive information (ID and my photos with an ID). I will chase the deletion of my data through other channels. I'm assuming it's an oversight, but the 2 paper cups waiting for us in the apartment were already used and one of the towels in the bathroom had a mascara stain on it, which raised some concerns about the general cleanliness of the room.

Room was big, modern bathroom. Good location for Citta Alta Check in was horrenus! Despite filling in all of the online information prior to arrival, we were not sent a code to access the property. We were left stood on the street in the dark and freezing cold. We had to ring an out of hours number for help.The woman on the other end hardly spoke any English. She asked for us to resend all of the information to her again via WhatsApp. It took over 45 minutes to gain access. Once inside of the gate we had to negotiate a dark slippy pathway to our room. The hotel does not respond to emails as I had contacted them the day before we travelled to check that everything was in order. Also keep the room door locked at all times. A maintenance man walked into my room whilst I was sat on the bed!

amazing location close to Citta Alta close to Bergamo Train Station (25 min walk) beautiful house and cozy room with lots of space huge comfortable beds some of the codes were not working, we had to use the parking door
