Zaffiro Blu Airport

The property is located in the lower city and is within walking distance to the main shopping street as well as the funicular to the medieval town. The property is comfortable for 3 of us. The availability of a parking space in the courtyard for a fee is a plus for us. Christian who checked us in was very helpful. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The entrance to the courtyard is rather difficult to find and you have to be on the right side of the road in order to turn in.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Apartment has an amazing location, just few minutes to supermarket, city center and railway and bus station. Really spacious, and has a nice view. Also, amazing restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood. Nothing, really. Everything was really good.

The location is excellent, right in the center of the city, also easy and fast to reach from the airport. The apartment is safe, well-equipped, and perfectly clean.

The property is very convenient to transport, shops and restaurants. The airport bus stop is right outside and the same bus can bring you to Citta Alta. There are lots of shops/ cafes in the lower town too. The property itself could do with a bit of a refresh (paint, cupboard door knob, fridge door) and as standard should have wine glasses, corkscrew and bottle opener (we managed anyway lol). Great shower, plenty of towels and comfy bed. Sure what else do you need! Few utensils needed as above.

The property is in an excellent location—just a 10-minute walk from the central station and about 15 minutes to the upper city. The apartment was very clean and easy to access independently using a code, which made check-in super convenient. While the apartment is in a great location, it was a bit dated compared to the photos. The windows were not well insulated, so street noise was quite noticeable, especially since the apartment is located on a main road leading to the upper city. Communication with the hosts felt rather blunt. When it came time to pay, I was charged more than the amount listed on booking. I simply asked for clarification—not a refund—and the reply I received was quite rude, telling me I should have read the website more carefully: it was a mandatory fee of the city. However, after checking multiple times, I still couldn’t find any clear mention of the additional fee or its amount. Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but there are definitely areas for improvement in terms of hospitality and transparency.

Location is great, bus stop to the airport in front of the entrance, short walk to the Funicular to the Upper city. Great restaurant recommendation.

It was so uncomfortable that we succesfully ignored the old furniture and the lack of other kitchen amenities. Keep away from this property!

We spent one night in this apartment. The apartment is very basic. The location is good, 15 min by bus from the airport, just above the bus stop, in the lower city center. The self check-in was easy and smooth. Communication with the owners was easy. The bed linens were new and clean, and the bed was comfortable and not too soft. There is a gas water heater, so you have plenty of hot water. There were some problems regulating water temperature in the shower. Other issues are relevant for wintertime (it was 0-2°C outside at night). There is a thermostat on the wall, and you must learn how it works to stay warm, and not switch it off by mistake as we probably did. The radiator in the bedroom is very small and not enough, but under 2 blankets, it was ok. We stayed for 1 night only, so didn't cook, but the kitchen utensils are not well taken care of (smell etc.) so I wouldn't be happy to use it if I needed to.

I had an excellent stay at Zaffiro Blu Airport! The hostess was incredibly helpful and provided me with all the information I needed even more, which made my experience stress-free and enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect—easy to access and very convenient for my travel plans. The accommodation was spacious, with plenty of beds, making it ideal for groups or families. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay with excellent service and a fantastic location. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! As I stayed for only one night, I didn’t need to use the kitchen facilities, but I would suggest refreshing the kitchen area for an even better experience for future guests. The only thing I didn’t like was that the toilet bin was hand-operated rather than pedal-operated. For a place visited by people from all over the world, a pedal bin would be more hygienic and appropriate.

Very close to the Citta Alta, and several stores and turist attractions We arrived late in the evening and the temperature in the appartment was very cold, the second day the owner came and fixed the thermostat. Anyway, we would reccomend the owner to warm up the appartment 1 day before, because it took 2 days to have a comfortable temperature.

Location in Citta‘ Bassa is perfect for Teatro Donizetti and access from FS station. Initial access from street a disaster: lengthy videos fail to give access code for key-pad used to enter building. I strongly suggest simple written instructions should be used: trying to watch lengthy videos at night in freezing conditions is not a good idea. Light over table didn‘t work, hardly any toilet paper supplied, a small quantity of instant coffee+milk would be a welcoming touch (as in most other B&Bs), no wifi, photos on Booking.com don‘t correspond to the room . A vast list of restaurants sent as SMS could usefully be replaced by a printed list in room.
