Hotel Zawrat Ski Resort & Spa

Great hotel location surrounded by beautiful nature. The spa area was pleasant and relaxing. When we arrived for check-in, there was no one at the reception desk for about 7–10 minutes. Two other couples were waiting with us as well. The room turned out to be quite dark. We were also disappointed by the lack of clear information regarding the bathtub in the room. On the website, it was presented as one of the advantages of the Deluxe room. It would be worth removing the bathtub photo from the main Deluxe room listing, as the photos and description differed significantly from what was actually provided. The sauna was only turned on after 17:00, which meant that on our first day of stay it did not become fully operational until after 18:00

Reception staff was clearly bored and almost passive aggressive towards us which made our stay less pleasant.

We stayed at Hotel Zawrat Ski Resort & Spa and overall had a very good experience, especially for a ski holiday. The location is a major advantage. The hotel is easy to reach by car and is less than 100 meters from the ski lift and chairlift — you can practically walk out of the ski room in your boots and reach the lift immediately. The area is quiet, with a pleasant view. It feels more like a rural area without a clear “downtown”; nightlife was not something we were looking for, but it also didn’t stand out as being present nearby. The rooms are clean and well maintained on a daily basis. Budget rooms are on the smaller side but functional; for more comfort, it’s worth considering a higher category. The spa area meets expectations — the SPA looks like in the photos and is well maintained. A nice advantage is that during the day the pool is not crowded, which is great for non-skiers. Breakfast is a strong point: varied and good quality. For lunch and dinner, although the food is good, you might want more variety — there are restaurants within less than 1 km, so alternatives are easy to find. The hotel is family-friendly, with a dedicated space for children. The staff is fine, and communication in English was not an issue. In short: • excellent access to the slopes (very close to the lift) • varied and good breakfast • clean rooms • family-friendly • pool is not crowded during the day During busy periods, parking around the hotel can become quite crowded. The pool and jacuzzi are not very large and can feel crowded when more guests are using them.

Close to slopes and ski school. The people that work there are wonderful. Didn’t catch everyone’s name but Edita-boss lady is awesome and Kasper and Mihai (sorry I know I spelled it wrong) make wonderful drinks at the bar. Breakfast has lots of tasty selections.

Very good breakfast selection; really exceeded our expectations. The spa area is very nice and clean. The pool was closed; they didn't say that before booking only after it was booked; it wasn't a big issue as the spa area was still open but would have been nice to say in advance.

The rooms were clean and beautiful, the breakfast was comprehensive and tasty, and the hotel grounds were simply unbelievable. We really liked it and plan to come again in the winter.
