Hotel Le Gamaritz

I’d read the reviews on the owner Thierry and had high expectations, I’m happy to say he surpassed them all. The Gamaritz is the perfect hotel, the location was excellent, the beds comfortable and breakfast delicious

The host was very kind and helpful on what to see and where to go and also arranged taxi for us the next day to go to the train station to travel to Sant Jean Pede de Port.

Amazing property in the center of it all It was very hard to leave The hotel was excellent but Stephanie and Juliet made the visit wonderful Kindness and Support at its best

The location was great, room was small but clean and efficient The stairs were a bit perilous. No lift.

The hotel location is central to everything. It was incredibly clean and comfortable and Thierry and Stephanie who run the hotel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we (myself, my mum and my toddler) had everything we needed. Will definitely book to stay here again.

The perfect location for a stay in Biarritz! The hotel is within walking distance of everything you might need: shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, and even beautiful sunset spots like Villa Belza. The room was comfortable, and the hostess at reception was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She provided us with a helpful guide to exploring the city and shared all the must-see places. I would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Biarritz. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Fabulous, cozy, perfect hotel in the heart of Biarritz. Thierry and Stephanie were perhaps the best hosts EVER! They handled every detail lovingly and completely. Could not ask for any better hosts. Nothing

Stephanie was exceptionally friendly and helpful and ensured our stay was great, right down to on street parking advice. The location is breathtaking, 1 minute walk from the beach. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We left our charger and the maid took it to reception who promptly called us to collect it. Hard to get parked but it was the start of the school holidays and it's in a PRIME location and we did manage to get parked

We spent three days here and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located right in the city centre, just a few minutes from the coast a perfect base for exploring Biarritz. The owner was very kind, helped with everything we needed, and gave us great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Biarritz. Everything was perfect

We stayed for nine nights in early October. The owner Thiery is an exceptional, warm and welcoming host. We are both 81. He accommodated several of our needs and made it easy for us to explore all of Biarritz on foot (we are Americans, but no longer rent cars overseas). The Petit Plage is a two minute walk; great sunset views also a minute or two away; many restaurants;,los Halles market place less than 10 minute walk (uphill, but we got stronger). Nothing. It was great.

Service was nice Location was great Room is pretty small, but fine for one or two nights Isolation could be improved
