Location. Friendly staff The room was rather too hot and the comforter was for Antarctica.

Beautiful and comfortable but a huge walk up the hill. Not for anyone with bad knees. You can’t leave except by car or walking uphill 8 stories. Can’t walk uphill. Otherwise spectacular.surfer heaven

At night, all we could hear when we lay in bed was the soothing sound of waves, its right in the beach. It’s a tiny bit dated but it was very clean and comfortable, peaceful and a five minute stroll along the water to town, so a great location. Also some bars and restaurants right beside it. Best spot for sunset!

Perfect location for surf etc and balcony views - short walk to town. Nice spacious room and good and very friendly service - we extended our stay twice and would not hesitate to return. NB Naturally parking is limited in front of hotel (and Biarritz in general) and hotel parking elevator takes only cars up to 1,8 t - we found free parking 20 min walk from hotel during our 11 days stay but it limited access to our car. There is a parking lot up the stairs high above the hotel for around 85 € per night.

    Location was amazing

Nothing! Terrible experience. Probably the worst place we have been to! After we descended a huge cliff with our luggage, because the car is not allowed at the Property area, at the arrive we were given a room key that didn’t exist. After we came down and set the right room, we found 2 dead cockroaches in our way to the room. Room smells bad, it’s humid and AC didn’t work. The washbasin was completely filthy on the inside silicones. The next day when we took the car from the nearest park on top of the cliff we payed 70€, for the night hours without any warning from the receptionist.

Beautifully clean, great location (even more so if you want to surf), family friendly. The staff couldn’t do more to be helpful. We loved it and would reccomend to everyone

Terrace, view Our bathrooms didn’t work exactly as they should have. In one room the water leaked through to the floor and the floors didn’t dry as the air was so humid. Discovered cockroach in the hall in the morning.

Outstanding location right on the water front! Undergoing a major remodelling, so the service was a bit spotty.

The price and the receptionist people were very kind. we couldn't found the location and they came to pick us up where we were. Location. May be for summer is great because is in front of the ocean, but in winter does not paiy off. Accessibility is very complicated. It is tagged on google maps not in the exact location, you have to get all the city around to get in the ONLY and one street to get in. building is old and was renewed partially, water did not drain well in the bathtub and lavatories.

Everything was fantastic. The woman at the front desk was fabulous, friendly, helpful and always smiling. The room was exceptional with incredible ocean views. The bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. There was great lighting, so often rooms are dark. The tv was on castors so that it could be viewed either from the bed or the couch in its own little alcove with a large window. Important for us, because we stayed during the Rugby World Cup. It was warm the entire time, so we kept the window and balcony sliding glass door open. Apparently, this is common because the flooring is a surface that accepts water and it is easily mopped up. There was a large fabulous bath tub for soaking. We had breakfast one morning; a petit dejeuner simple. It included coffee and croissants. The cafe au lait was the best I have had since visiting Paris years ago. It was the old fashioned steamed milk in a pitcher. This is the ONLY hotel on the beach near the old town in Biarritz.. All of the others are up on the bluffs. The restaurant next door, Le Surfing was excellent as well. In warm weather I don't understand why the bedding is a duvet. It is far too warm for the season. There are no other bed coverings, so we always take the cover off of the duvet and use it instead. It worked great. Two other suggestions I will make is that there was only a single chair and no table upon which to eat. The chairs that were provided on the balcony were beach chairs which were not comfortable or usable as dining chairs. Cater breakfast earlier than 8:00AM. We had to leave early for travel purposes and missed the delight of breakfast. Getting breakfast out in this hotel requires either a taxi or being fit to walk up the paths on the cliffs behind or heading into the old town which is challenging in the rain.
