Our room was quite clean and comfortable. Since the weather was unusually warm for May, we also appreciated having A/C. We stayed in a room with 2 beds and 2 pull-out sofas. We found both the beds and the sofas to be very comfortable. The correct amount of linens for the pull-out sofas was already on hand, which was nice. The kitchenette served our needs perfectly. We were able to store supplies for a light breakfast each day with tea. There was also a separate compost container for food waste. During our stay we also made use of the laundry facilities and the exercise room. The machines in the laundry room all looked brand new and were easy to use with Apple Pay. The times given were quite precise so we were able to collect our laundry right on time. Conveniently, we were able to purchase laundry soap from the front desk. The exercise room was quite small but still managed to contain a treadmill, a bicycle, and an elliptical. There was also a single weight lifting machine. It served our purpose just fine. But even 2 people made it seem a bit crowded. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There always seemed to be quite a few staff on hand which was nice. We didn't have to look very hard to get help. The location is right near Centenary Square near the city center. For our purposes, this location was very convenient. The only slight drawback was the size of the room. We stayed in a room that can accommodate 4 adults. But the kitchenette area was quite small. Luckily we are all family so it didn't impact us that much. But it may be different for others. Also, our room and hallway were very quiet, but other hallways near the laundry and exercise room were not as quiet.

Good appartment, worth the price

The room was small but pleasant, with air conditioning, a reasonably equipped kitchenette, and an excellent bathroom. Kitchen equipment worked great, and there was plenty of cutlery. I did not test the stove or the cooking utensils. Everything was clean, and the stay was pleasant. High street is really close, within a comfortable walking distance. There was no kitchen drawer, so cutlery was in a box in the bottom of the cupboard, but it was not a real hassle. The shower only had one towel hook, so we had to do a lot of juggling of the towels. There's a couple of rises between the hotel and the high street that might make the walk challenging for people with mobility issues or other difficulty.

The rooms were clean, not bad for short stays. The price-service ratio is good. I also stayed at StayCity in Manchester, and it was very good, which is why we chose this place. The location and the other guests didn't seem very trustworthy to me. Also, if you're going to take the train, getting to the hotel with luggage isn't easy. You also see strange people along the way.

Funny whooshing noise coming from the freezer.

Nice and central Nothing

It's not too fancy but really modern and nice, has everything you need, and was exceptional value and a nice stay.

Plenty of space and added bonus of having a fridge in the room. The room has everything you could possibly need; iron, hairdryer, fresh towels, bottle opener, scissors, etc Overall the room was clean but there were some hairs on the bedroom floor, so looked like it hadn’t been hovered or properly swept. Also, I arrived at the property at 2pm and was charged £20 extra to check in an hour early. If the room is ready, don’t see why they need to apply an extra charge.

The only down side was the sofa beds wasn't comfortable at all to sleep on and hurt my daughters back and they had to share a bed with their other siblings.

Lovely rooms, with everything you needed. The receptionist were all amazing and location was perfect Nothing.

Spacious Room needed some maintenance and was very loud at nighttime

Very spacious rooms, all that you could need was there. Very close to town and all places we were plannning to see. Staff at the reception was really lovely. Rooms and bathroom really clean. Might be silly but toilet flush was really hard to press. We were at the ground floor and becasue the bedroom is sharing the wall with the bathroom we coud hear water flushes from the higher floors, which was keeping us up in the morning.

Check in and out was quick and easy with lovely staff. Location is great.. quiet but close to city centre. Bed was very comfy and kitchenette was amazing!! It worked really well for us all. Maybe a few pictures in the corridors upstairs would be an added bonus!

Very dated and poorly repaired Shower pressure was excellent but door wouldn’t close and the shower kept flooding so had to keep turing it off

A well equipped kitchenette and even a washing machine in the room! Didn’t expect these for this price range. It’s like an apartment, not just a hotel room. A TV that can actually enable chromecast too. Happy that we can enjoy All England on the TV screen. I like the wooden floor instead of carpet too. Feel more hygienic. The bed is big enough for three people. We didn’t need to sleep on the sofa bed. Some staff members are not the most welcoming. Didn’t bother to smile or say hi. Some are very friendly and helpful though. The gym is small. Felt a bit cramped.
