Lovely decor, nice small hotel, friendly staff and excellent location.

Clean with everything you need and more. Nice open bar, restaurant area. Bed was low and a bit small.

Everything! The room was comfortable, lovely bed and bathroom. Replenishing complimentary bar fridge was immense! The staff were super friendly, sorting any issues immediately without fuss. Great location on a lovely square, walking distance of a tram stop to take you in the centre, but far enough out of the hubbub! The only thing was the lift was out of order, so had to take my two bags up the staircase. Not a huge issue for me, and saw staff helping others with bags.

Central to everything . Safe area . Staff were so lovely and helpful . Rooms are small but have everything even complementary water orange juice and proccessco .

Comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Peaceful area. Property had a nice restaurant and bar. Lift was not working. Had to walk up two flights of stairs to bedroom. Walk from city centre to hotel was sketchy. This was one of the nicer areas of Birmingham but still lots of rubbish on the streets around the property.

Staff were pleasant, location is good Incredibly noisy, the window keeps absolutely no sound out and with a busy bar open downstairs until 1am (including people sitting outside) and various cars revving around the square, it was extremely difficult to sleep. The charge to use the car park was also excessive, you could park round the corner for a quarter of the price. Maybe it's quieter on a weekend, or if you're out until very late, it might be better...

Exceptional

We absolutely loved our stay, the room was beautiful well designed and immaculate. Having the AC was a blessing in the heat. The coffee in the morning could have been a bit stronger and the selection for continental breakfast wasn’t very big.

The staff, especially the restaurant and housekeeping, were so friendly and caring. The hotel had a relaxed, welcoming and safe atmosphere. Breakfast was well cooked and we had a lovely evening meal also. The air con in the room was much appreciated on the hottest couple of days of the summer. Lifts weren't working which may impact on less mobile customers. Real ales in the bar weren't on!

Nice quiet location within walking distance of the city centre. Room was very comfortable with robes and complimentary proseco in the fridge. The staff were lovely.

Quirky. Unusual old building. Air conditioning in the 30+ heat very welcome! The lifts were out of order. It didn’t affect us but maybe some guests might have been affected.

Lovely quiet and cool room; the complimentary sweets and Prosecco a lovely touch. Staff could be a little more switched on. Pricey but all hotels had upper prices for the athletics.

how friendly the staff and people coming into saint pauls house were. they made me feel welcome, offered a complimentary drink and breakfast (i didn’t personally have unfortunate). it was perfectly located, there were many options available around the area. so it’s perfect for late nights and short walks. not too far from the train station either! i can see some people not liking the property because of the loud night life but it didn’t bother me personally and mostly sounded muted/in the background music with chatter. i found it quite soothing! so just check to ensure a big event isn’t happening on their socials but I had no problem on a Friday night.
