Free safe car park for guests. Good location for what I needed. Staff were very nice. Bed was comfy. Nice bar, good selection of drinks. Good evening meal in bar. Room was clean, plenty big enough, but could’ve done with a refurb.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast selection was varied and great quality. Room was a decent size and all we needed for our stay! Close to the stadium and was easy to get to and from.

Great location and wonderful facilities. Nothing. Everything was great and what I expected.

Staff were lovely. Location (just off a main road) was good and very quiet. Lovely reception/bar/dining area. Good breakfast. The double room was fairly small and it was difficult to get past when someone was sitting at the desk. No mirror anywhere close to a socket (so styling hair was a challenge!). No bedside lights (just one switch on one side of the bed), so if one person wanted to read and the other didn't it created an issue.

I loved the excellent breakfast, especially on the days that there was also table-service, in addition to 'self-serve'. So, on those days I had my own pot of Green tea - just what I wanted. The Single Room was spacious. The bathroom looked as if it was part of the recent refurbishment upgrade: also excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were perfect. My recent hotel experience in Glasgow was very poor for lighting. Great Barr Hotel was the total opposite - the availability of both electric lighting AND natural light were exceptionally good, which is very important to me. There was a slight security issue one day - OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 10/10.

Good location and easy parking and check in. Staff were very nice. Rooms are quite run down. Mine had belongings from previous guests left in it

Plenty of free parking, rooms are a good size and my bed was very comfy. Included breakfast was great, wi-fi worked well. Quiet location, all staff were really friendly. Late checkout of 1100hrs was great. Carpets in most common areas could do with an upgrade. Later-opening bar would be great. Some of my room decor was a bit tired, but my daughter’s was fine. No aircon anywhere was a bit of a challenge (more for the staff I’d say) but the fans provided worked.
