The Painted Lady

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean and was refreshed by staff appropriately. This was the easiest parking I have ever had in Birmingham. Travelling as a single lady, I felt safe going in and out and even walking to nearby restaurants. There isn't an elevator but that was not an issue for me. There is no mini fridge in the room but there is one in the hallway with filtered water provided.

We enjoyed our stay, but weren't able to extend our check out time after an emergency without being charged which i felt wasn't right or fair.

Very clean and spacious room! Very peaceful and the staff were available to make sure I had all information.

Negatives: bathroom door did not close all the way; no dead bolt or peep hole on the door; no ice machine; no bottled water offered; no closet; hot water in bathroom was a trickle; no elevator (although noted on their website); no staff available. Neighborhood is very sketchy. Found a sock by the bedside.

We loved staying here! Clean, convenient, easy check in and check out. Beautiful room!!! Loved the Bygones cocktail bar next door! Will stay here again!

It was an easy checking. Comfortable bed. No fridge or microwave though.

Area is a bit sketchy but seemed safe. I strongly recommend not to arrive before the 4pm check-in time, they stab you with a fee. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are nicely done. Wake me up a hands off approach at your hotel with very little service, this is your place. Grocery store 2 blocks away, several restaurants and bars very close.

Bed was very comfortable, location was great, staff was super friendly and helpful, parking was easy Parking wasn’t private/secure; no amenities, like hardly even access to drinking water (there was a shared Brita pitcher but the small sink made it impossible to refill); door had 2” gaps in multiple sides so it was very bright from the hallway light and neighbors were very easy to hear

Nice and cozy

Everything was so nice and clean. Rooms are spacious. Nice and quiet neighborhood. No elevator. Everything except for hair on my shower.

Clean, well-located, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Water in fridge on our floor wasn’t replenished. I had to refill it myself and go to other floors to get water.
