Nothing. Would definitely stay again

The staff were all so nice! Very friendly every time I talked to them. Pub downstairs where I could order food and bring it to the room and the food was very reasonably priced. Lots of towels, the beds were quite comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. This was a quick stay for one night in Birmingham before catching a flight and my six year old son was so happy eating his pub food in the room and watching trains go by out the window. The pub music stopped around ten even though it was a weekend so it wasn’t noisy. The window opened nice and wide so the room wasn’t hot. Great value for the price. The cleaning needs to be done more carefully, the bathroom had some leftover hair etc from previous guests.

Good service, nice staff

The staff are first rate and the overall vibe of the place is amazing, especially if you're a Villan. I went for Villa - Liverpool and we won 4-2 and the night out after the match was epic. The only issue I had was with the mattress, which was very soft. But if you like soft mattresses, you'll probably love it!

Didn’t have breakfast Nothing

Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and given full explanations upon how the hotel operated re breakfast, deposits, car parking and closure of reception if we were to be out late. We were allowed to check in at 1100 which was really kind! Nothing, everything was perfect and matched the descriptions on the website

Staff were excellent, room was spotless
-
It was close to Villa Park. The staff treated us like family. Great food, free parking, great atmosphere
-
WiFi not working, and no fans/AC.

The check in is at the bar if it had different entrance for reception separate to walking in through customers who are having a pint watching football. Carpers in the corridor and room is outdated and was dirty. The chef was off sick so no food, if they had a replacement it was going to be better because we had to look for food.

The parking was a bit of a nightmare and I struggled to get out because the cars are boxed in on each other. I felt that the price was a bit much when hotels in the heart of Birmingham were less/similar so I probably wouldn't book again

Staff were friendly. rooms were clean. food was good There were a lot of contractors, shouting, slamming doors all night. at 2 in the morning they were screaming and fighting outside of my room. rooms were dated. There was a strange damp smell in the room

The value for money is there and the location was perfect. 5 minute walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk to a work event i had to go to the next day. Fresh sheets, towels and a kettle in your room. Great! I really don’t understand how a hotel does not have wifi in 2025? I was there for work and really could’ve done with some sort of connection. I’m pretty sure booking.com confirmed this establishment had WiFi. The worst part was I couldn’t hot spot my phone as I did not have signal so there wasn’t any solution. I also didn’t like that I had to report the back door (which happened to be right next to my room) being left open which poses an obvious safety risk. Unfortunately I did feel a little gaslighted by the staff member I queried this with about the door and the lack of WiFi. If there was a WiFi connection, this stay and hotel would be 10/10 for me.

Excellent location for Villa Park, Clean and comfortable. No tea / coffee facilities - Hot drinks available from bar but I didn’t really want to venture into a busy pub on a saturday night seeking a cup of tea. TV on room but not tuned to domestic channels and no wifi to be found so netflix etc not working on it.
