Adnans Hotel

Disappointing

Car parking outside the room was good. The staff ok. Door to bathroom didn't shut. No A/C. NO tea making facilities. The room in general was very tatty in desperate need of decorating.

The room had nine power outlets, five near the ceiling. I enjoyed this novelty. First off, the hotel put me in a different hotel: Adnans had a sign up asking people to check in and stay next door at Gables hotel, which I'm surprised I hadn't been warned of. The window looked it had at some point been forced and I couldn't close it fully and the door had recently been replaced -- it only had its number written on in board-marker, and I grew paranoid about crimes and security. A large part of the wallpaper as torn and missing, like a half-unwrapped birthday present. The carpet had stains which I hope were bean juice. The shower head kept falling down when I used it because the rubber seals keeping it up were broken.

Nothing Atmosphere on arrival gave the feeling that the hotel was being used as some sort of a hostel that made us feel very uneasy It smelt of stale cigarettes After late night flight we took ourselves to the room to find the sink had been broken and held back together with some form of wall filer Silicone mouldy around bathroom And if that was not bad enough we sat on the bed thinking it’s for one night before travelling home to discover clover mites on my arm having got up to get them off to my horror found a bed bug where I had been sat my boyfriend got up to find another we moved the pillows to discover around 10 bedbugs under pillows and on the headboard On complaining to reception who didn’t seem overly concerned and told us to take it up with Booking.com for refund, when they contacted the hotel they denied all Fortunately the pictures and videos we took tell the truth

Value for money in this location. Would recommend as one of the best room & facilities near NEC or Airport. Easy to get to, room and bed were very comfortable with an excellent food shop next door. With a hotel with a bar in walking distance. Over all was very happy.

Be aware, False Advertising. Never experienced Adnans Hotel which is what I booked, so unfortunately can not comment on this property. Me & my daughter were directed to the Gables hotel, which apparently is the sister company. I was told there was no rooms left in Adnas. At the time of booking the Gables was advertised £20 less to which I paid so obviously i wasn’t happy and made my feelings very clear. The Gables Hotel is extremely basic, old tatty furniture. Tv signal bad. Bathroom unclean, no air con. No kettle/tea/coffee facilities. Door lock/windows unsafe.

The location No kettle was provided, despite being listed. The shower had low pressure & was lukewarm. The room was facing the main road & wasn’t very soundproofed.
