The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. It was ideally located for the train station and the various Blackpool attractions but unfortunately, that's where it ends. First off and most importantly, the shower was FREEZING! Literally took the breath out of me and that was it turned up to the maximum hot setting. Ironically, when I turned it round to max cold, it did get about a degree warmer but still horrendously uncomfortable for someone who's used to a hot shower. Didn't even shower in the morning, it was just far too uncomfortable. It was also tiny. I'm 5'4" and slim and even I had issues moving around in it. The room looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for a number of weeks, mirrors, lampshades, even the walls and doors were dirty and covered in dust. None of the bedside lights worked either.

Fairly central location, great value for money and the owners seemed friendly and helpful. I feel the checkout is a little early. Also, maybe could provide additional soaps and shampoo upon check in.

Even though it was a small room it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay (I've stayed in bigger rooms and not had everything you needed so it definitely served the purpose for my stay) Tv had free view so lots of channels Tea/coffee facilities with complimentary bottle of water, a choclate mint and biscuits which is a lovely touch. If you need any more brew kit, just ask, no issues at all. Towels provided, not many places provide you with a bath towel so I also appreciated this. Complimentary bath soap, hand-wash etc if you needed it. Bathroom clean and fabulous shower! Plenty of power sockets including USB points, desk n chair and hanging space. Bedding clean and pillows and bed comfy. I felt this room was utilised well and had everything you needed. Iron and board available too which I use Id recommend The Dragonfly based on my experience and stay. Thank you x I was in Room 9, very small room so with the heatwave and window only slightly being able to open it was very warm, however I brought a little fan with me so it was OK plus it went cooler the following 2 days
