close to everything no hot water in the second room

It was very run down, not organised at all, a little annoyed that had to pay for breakfast when included in the price, then had to pay £10 per night for carpark space, the room was small, the toilet seat wasn’t secure, the shower you soaked the floor, the lady next was smoking in her room on no smoking policy hotel, and yes I smoke, so that not the issue, breakfast was late, nearly 9am before they served it up, scramble egg was fried and was so oily, they man slept in the reception room so kids couldn’t play the games they do have on offer, overall was not the best hotel I’ve used with booking.com Small rooms, fixtures weren’t upto standard,

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again
-
Really friendly staff The building was very dated and in need of a refresh. For the price I was expecting something less dilapidated. Everything felt like it was on its last legs to be honest.
-
The property could do with a little update but all in all it was what you expected for money. It was a little unorganised but they was still able to solve any issues

The manager was very nice! When we arrived we waited an hour to be told they had overbooked and there was no room for us even though we had booked weeks in advance. Then had to scramble to find another hotel last minute.

The location. ⭐️ 0/10 – A Dangerous, Filthy Health Hazard. Do Not Stay Here. Our family holiday to Blackpool was completely ruined by the Tulip Hotel. We were forced to cut our trip short and flee early because basic human needs, safety, and hygiene standards were entirely absent. This property is completely unfit for commercial habitation. The Room (Room 7) & Safety Hazards: Live Exposed Wires: The plug socket near the bed had the cover hanging off, exposing loose, bare, wires right next to a bed. Another light fitting had loose wires. Structural Water Damage: The bathroom ceiling directly above the toilet was sagging and bulging heavily from an active water leak, creating a constant fear of collapse. Injury & Blocked Doors: An oversized bed was crammed into the room, completely blocking the bathroom doorway. I have severe bruises on my legs from trying to squeeze past it.Broken Furniture: Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, shelves were hanging loosely, the wardrobe door hinge was broken, and the TV shelf was completely crooked. The Mattresses: Every single mattress was completely broken. One sank entirely to the base, and another had quilts stuffed under the sheets just to hide the sharp, painful springs. Hotel Conditions & Hygiene: Food Poisoning: The hotel leaves breakfast food sitting out on tables at room temperature all day long. After seeing the kitchen—which was covered in layers of thick grime and dirt—we understood why our entire family ended up with severe sickness and upset stomachs. No Housekeeping: Despite advertising daily housekeeping, our room was never cleaned. I had to empty our own bins and beg staff for fresh towels and toilet paper. General Upkeep: The hotel smells intensely musty, the hallway carpet is a lumpy trip hazard, and the common room sofas are covered in dirt and cigarette burns. The light outside our room was broken, forcing us to use phone torches to see.

A good value stay with friendly staff, good breakfast, and excellent location about 7 minutes to the beach side. The bathroom was a little small, but it didn’t affect our overall stay. Everything else was great.
