My son and I stayed overnight, owners couldn't be nicer and incredibly welcoming. They offered great advice about getting the best prices for the local attractions and transport tickets. Would happily book this accommodation again. There was nothing not to like, a well priced overnight stay, with great hosts.

We've stayed here three times now and we love the place... we're a family of four and we can honestly say for families this ticks every box. The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive..the place itself is a little out of town but we prefer this and the tram into town is a two minute walk and on the Blackpool transport app you can book an all day pass for four for only 14 pounds so this makes travel really easy. Also there is free parking on the street and surrounding streets which on all three visits we've got so this in itself is already a saver and for me paid for the tram. But that isn't the biggest selling point....the beds and pillows are ridiculously comfy....I haven't slept so well since I was a child (my wife joked about pinching the pillows) I was tempted. The rooms are fabulously clean and the area and hotel itself are so peaceful you will sleep and sleep well which is critical for me as I have severe issues regarding noise and this place is the epitome of tranquil. As a family of four Vegetarians we were yet again delighted with the breakfast...we all left with our bellies full and the food is lovely. Both Caron and Laurie are friendly and attentive and Laurie made my little boys day by telling where they get their delicious orange juice from as my little lad drinks orange juice by the bucket load. Nice shower also and I don't hesitate to recommend to families and couples alike who want a great night in Blackpool but want a great night's sleep and a great breakfast for the drive home. We weren't planning on booking anywhere else this year as I have a lot on but my son has insisted we go again as this is his favorite place and we will definitely be back this year. Nothing all good.

The amazingly friendly, chatty and helpful hosts Laurie and Caron went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after us extremely well. The cooked breakfast was generous with options for cereal, fruit, yoghurt, etc. The room was clean and had little extras like bottled water and was well supplied with tea, coffee and biscuits. Overall, a comfortable, homely stay with great hosts

Owners could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellant & extra if required. Loverly ensuite, with overhead shower.

Spotless, friendly, warm. Perfect for a night away, so much so, we actually wanted to stay an extra night! Breakfast was amazing, hot and fresh

We had an amazing Easter break at The Penhryn with our little ones! Laurie and Caron were incredibly hospitable and made sure our vegetarian breakfasts were just right. The room was neat, tidy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—cookies, tea, shower gel, and towels. They gave us great tips on public transport day passes, local attractions, and food spots. Best part of staying here was kids were excited about fishes in the tank and they got to pet their adorable cat. The tram station was just a couple of minutes away, making it super convenient to get around town. We highly recommend staying here and definitely look forward to visiting again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Staff were exceptional, hosts were great. Price was excellent for what you get. Hot chocolate in the room with biscuits. The bed was uncomfortable. But I'm fussy and you get what you pay for.
