It is a beautiful country inn, with a great pub and lovely gardens. It is off the beaten path, so it is away from the crowds in the more popular Cotswolds towns. Parking was a bit limited.

Outstanding unpretentious food and helpful staff in a beautiful setting. Best chicken pie I’ve ever tasted (made on site). Excellent breakfast, including fresh-cut fruit salad and choice of cooked options. Very comfortable and quiet room with tea, biscuits, and nespresso. Lovely pub gardens and space for kids to play on the green. A wonderful place to stay.

Location; outside areas; staff were excellent; food was very good. The room was in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was average.

Quiet location, nice food, great pub

Charming, exquisite outdoor spaces- the walkway covered in wisteria and the patio beckoned us to savor a drink in the sunshine. The tub drain backed up a bit but it wasn’t a big deal.

Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. Room was clean and sympathetically decorated to the age of the property. Decor throughout was charming. Courtyard was atmospheric and comfortable.

Very friendly staff, excellent pub/restaurant, comfy room Nothing

Do to the age of the Inn, it was a bit difficult to move within the building.

I prefer a buffet style breakfast with a little more choice.

16th. Entity building so lots of history and low beams! Only place in town so enjoyed dinner (great sticky toffee pudding and G&Ts!). Lovely breakfast and quaint hotel in the Cotswolds if you have a car. Would recommend. Best shower pressure and possibly best shower I’ve had in UK! Not so much not like- but room was quite warm without windows being opened.

Downstairs courtyard room so no stairs which suited due to poor mobility Need for walk in shower

Lovely spot on the village green. Comfy old fashioned rooms. Very good breakfast. Good dinner. Friendly people. Plenty of outdoor space. Staircase and low ceilings a bit tricky. Noise and music from the pub carries up to the rooms.

Breakfast was great - very rare you find kippers on the menu, poached eggs were perfect, decent coffee. Breakfast room was lovely. DONT BOOK ROOM 4: it is positioned by a heating bolier that comes on and off on demand. It appears to be connected not just to other rooms but the main kitchen as after dinner I sat in my room and listened to it come on and off all night to 11pm. It also casued pipes or similar to rattle. I did report this to receptipon and was asdvised they would turn it off arpund 11pm and turn it back on in the morning, however at 2am it came on several times albeit I had put ear plugs in.... It definatley needs attending to.

Full English poor looked like it was cooked half an hour before I ordered it. Evening meal ordered haddock looked like they had just thrown a pile of chips on the plate, stuck the fish on top, mushy peas very small portion and for £20 not good value for money.Only my meals Only my meals, everything else was of a very good standard.
