Villa Bali Luxury Guest House

We had an excellent two-night stay at Villa Bali Hotel. The room was exceptionally comfortable, with a spacious king-size bed and an electric blanket, which was especially helpful for my wife following her back operation. It made our stay warm and comfortable during the cold weather. The room was well equipped with a full DSTV bouquet, a clean bathroom stocked with hand sanitiser, shampoo, body wash, lotion, and fresh towels. The bar fridge worked perfectly and was stocked with water and milk. We also appreciated the coffee and tea station, complete with rusks and sachets of hot chocolate—a thoughtful touch that made us feel at home. What impressed us the most was the outstanding attention to detail. On the frosty mornings, the staff covered our car's windscreen with blankets to prevent it from icing over. Such a simple yet brilliant gesture showed genuine care for their guests. The hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful service made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Villa Bali Hotel and will certainly stay there again. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

Room is clean and comfortable. TV didn't work and no wifi connection to the TV either.

Really enjoyed the fact that all the staff were very friendly and helpful and they remembered what we had ordered for breakfast from the previous morning. Also they went out of their way to try and help when we requested extra lighting in the room. The lighting in the room was too dim. It could be brighter or at least have an option, ie: an extra switch, that you could make the lighting brighter when needed.

Good proximity to the Colesburg restaurants. Nice clean well maintained room. Even though it was mid-summer the bed had a winter weight duvet and no flat sheet. Luckily we brought our own flat sheet. The covered parking bays are reserved for larger unit cars. Those of in smaller units have to endure a hot car in the summer month mornings and evenings. May be a good idea to have a folder with details of local attractions, restaurants etc.

Beautiful outside decor and escape from the city life. Peaceful and calming. Room was spacious and loved the electric blanket. I enjoyed my sleep alot better. I did not enjoy the scrambled eggs a bit too moist but the fruits was good.

They have a lovely breakfast, ample safe parking, and good wifi. I was also allowed to check in early at 13:20 When I got to my room I discovered that the power was off. They do have solar which kept the lights and wifi on, but the aircon, kettle, geyser, electric blanket and plugs were not working. Initially I was told it would be on around 15:30, then that they are waiting for Centlec to come out. I had a very cool bath and got into bed to keep warm after going to a friend to charge my phone and get something hot to eat and drink. It eventually came on at 11:30pm.
