La Maison du Carroir

Chantal was so very sweet. I am an early riser and before it was time for breakfast, she noted that I was sitting in the garden and came and brought me an espresso and some cookies. Her gardens were beautiful, and the place is very artfully decorated. The location is really terrific and she was very clear about the parking as it turns out we were able to get street parking very easy at this time of year.

Very nice property. Very quiet. The train in the far, barely audibile with open windows, adds to the romance of this antique building. Nice decorations with children toys from the early last century. This was without doubt an exceptional B&B. The rooms were even more beautiful and comfortable than they looked in the photos and madame gave us a very warm welcome. She gave us maps and lots of helpful information about what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was various different types of bread, fruit salad, homemade yoghurt and jams, cheese, ham and figs from the garden. Very highly recommended. Nothing

Perfect location to explore the historic centre of Blois

The room was big and comfortable One of the filters on booking was free parking The property has no any parking I was disappointed that booking suggested me this accommodation despite of my request

Very tastefully decorated. Lovely breakfast. My wife found the mattress slightly too firm.

Our friendly host greeted us on our arrival & helped us with our bags. Our room was spacious & very clean, well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle & also a small fridge. The house & garden were beautiful. 10 minute walk to the Chateau. Our host gave us a voucher for a discount at the chateau. Breakfast was fabulous! Not a negative as such as It is clear from the booking website that there is no onsite parking. The house is on a very narrow street & we were shown where we could park on a nearby road for free and in the evening a closeby space became available so we we're able to move the car. Also not a negative, but our host apologised for not speaking any English. This was not a problem for us

Lovely quiet but central location. Very large room with beautiful ensuite and nice features. The host was very friendly and helpful in directing us to local restaurants. Fresh yoghurt and fruit for breakfast. There was a lot of bread at breakfast and no croissants offered.

Lovely setting on outskirts of Blois. Very well appointed/decorated. Nice breakfast (although a bit carb heavy). Only issue was the lack of English speaking ‘staff’, which with our limited French made it difficult to communicate (our bad I guess).
