Nice for a night or two

Property was closer to the road and other buildings than expected although it is nice enough inside. The bathroom was large and lovely in the suite. However, the amenities and staff were sub par, especially given thepl premium price tag. The wi Fi didn’t work, the staff interrupted to check it but never actually fixed it, the plumbing stopped up and when you try to access staff, you just find a note on the lobby door that says be back soon. The phone in the room didn’t work and was reported but never fixed. So without wi Fi or cell service and with no phone in the room working, you’d have to leave to go to the office only to find it empty. When I checked out, there was no staff to even tell the issues to. I’d give it 5/10 and wouldn’t stay again.

The staff was exceptional. Room was clean. Loved watching the fish in the pond. Easy walk to town.

It was lovely just as they had told us. It was extremely convenient and quiet and the creek sound in the back was fantastic.
-
Great location & friendly staff. I wish they had chairs on the front porch. They did have seating around the lake out front.

Certain areas were dirty or needed a little maintenance: finding hairs on washcloths and in bedsheets and in tub. Dirty residue started pooling up in the tub. Toilet would run for about 20 minutes and was not filling up with water very quickly. The door locks would stick and be hard to open.
-
Clean, nice front desk staff and location. Tired and appears the owner or management is waiting for a “deal”.
-
Charming little place! clean and convenient for walking. We had a few ants in the bathroom (nothing alarming due to drought in the area.

Location and staff

The room was very clean and our check in lady was so very sweet and pleasant . We would stay there again
-
No complimentary breakfast despite that price and walls were thin between other visitors in other room

We enjoyed our mountain escape to the Village Inn. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked the easy access to walk downtown. We definitely plan to stay here again with our fur baby.
-
The room was shabby, run down looking. The tub was scraped up. The deck hadn't been cleaned. It was filled with spider webs.
-
Location works for us. Price was good. Deck was nice. Surroundings were pretty. The musty smell in the room was a let down.

Great place to stay
-
Great location. The deck outside our room with 2 rocking chairs overlooking a stream.
-
No extra towels or coffee was available.
-
Appreciated the location; we would have liked a complimentary breakfast. See above

The back deck, private and great rocking chairs. Location within walking distance to town. Good coffee in our room.

Bed was very comfortable. I liked that the room had a private porch. The shower was hot and had good pressure. I wish breakfast was on site. There are many options within a couple miles, though.
