Modern Hotel

So relaxing and quiet, yet perfectly located. Wonderful breakfast with terrific coffee. I’ve already booked another visit!

Having enjoyed the food and drinks here since it opened, I was eager to actually stay here for the first time. It was just as good as it looked. Very well-kept property, with lots of thought put into the amenities. Rooms were spotless and very comfy. Staff was great. Quiet as well…perfect! Thanks, Modern!

The staff was friendly enough, but not especially warm or welcoming. The free breakfast was a nice added touch, but the options were very limited. Most items were pre-made and microwaved or served cold, so there wasn't much variety or freshness. Regular coffee was included with breakfast, but specialty lattes and espresso drinks were an additional charge.

And the bathroom doors look cool, but don't offer a ton of privacy with those windows. Excellent location. Friendly staff.

Love to support a nice local business on our trip. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Walkable location and also enjoyed borrowing a bike.

We really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were nice and engaging. Very big walk in shower, comfortable bed. It was nice having a bar and food right on site. Plus the bar tenders were super nice! The only thing was I had a hard time getting the hair dryer to plug in and wished the AC blew a bit harder. But both those are super minor. We would definitely stay here again!

AC unit was old and loud but room nice and comfy. Loved the bathroom decor and large bath towels. Breakfast was yummy and bar (glass of wine at evening in the courtyard with weak but nice mister and hard working small fan was a bit cooling in the high heat). Bar and barista were great and a nice to have amenity

The charm of feeling like a step back in time. Something happened with the tv and we only had one channel. The office had no solution.

Great room Very quiet. Nice breakfast.

We did find something missing each day with housekeeping. Coffee, wash clothes, bath mat. Nothing serious but inconvenient.
