Best Western City Hotel

Nothing in particular Very poor WiFi connection. Despite several attempts hotel staff couldn’t fix it. Cot was sliding ; head shower could’ve been longer the positioning was too close to wall. Due to construction work was very difficult to reach hotel by car or walk or even public transport

Too far from the city center and daily tax was too expensive

The location and the approach of the staff were more than satisfactory. The room should be larger.

Friendly staff Location

Very clean, good room. Comfortable bed, good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not the hotel's fault but the nearby tram/roadworks were very noisy. Once finished, though, the tram will be very useful for getting around.

Staff is very helpful The planes fly too low and the windows are not double glazed so it can get really noisy starting 6-6:30 am. The wifi connection was not good

The hotel was surprisingly nice despite the location . Let just say it was on the north side of things. Area look a little sketchy compared to the other side. However it has everything you need, there is a grocery store next the hotel. A continent store and a burger place. Also close to the station. It a little farther walk to the main strip like piazza maggiore but it is worth it. It is clean, staff are very nice , our room was clean daily .

Very nice location only a mile away from the convention center and lots of food and attractions in the area The sheets were made but not changed, lots of dust on the bannister above the bed but not really a big deal, the AC wasn’t too strong but i’m being biased cause i’m from the US.

The walls were very thin, and I could hear the TV of my neighbors, music, radio, talking etc. the whole time, although that wasn't even too loud. I had to literally charge my laptop in the sink in the bathroom, since all the sockets in the room only had thin entrances. And finally, the room advertises a coffee machine, but that was only a tiny water kettle, and 2 small packs of instant coffee. Which the cleaning staff did not even renew, so I had to ask (twice) at the reception to get new ones. So all this was a bit disappointing and misleading.

Breakfast was excellent once staff replenished supplies Room was very hot. Somehow default temperature wa 26 and we could lower it but when we left the room it superheated

Convenient location and clean room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. All the channels were in Italian

Nicely appointed room with desk and large bath. Pleasant bar/dining room and breakfast area including outdoor patio. Friendly staff. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood with large trees and shrubs. Walkable to the train station and city center if you like to get some exercise. Did not use it this trip but there is an underground garage. We had some problems with the air conditioner not cooling sufficiently.

Lots of space in the rooms. You can easily buy a train ticket with the hotel. Close to the train station, the hotel staff have a great shortcut that gets you to the train station in 6 mins (ignore Google Maps directions that say 10 mins). The restaurant food was great too, we were surprised by this. Free water in the rooms. You can only buy a train ticket with cash. Trains run way less frequently on Fridays and weekends (30-60 mins vs 15 mins on other days). I wish the hotel staff had mentioned this ahead of time because we had to take taxi (€30) into the city instead of the train (€1.50) to not miss our tour.

Location

Everything was good. Staff was nice and very friendly, we even check in earlier. Breakfast was good not to many choices but better than typical italian breakfasts. It's a bit far from a city center but that's our choice, anyway there was bus just right next to the hotel taking you directly to city centre in 15min

breakfast was good. Although I made the booking almost 3 months in advance , I was assigned an accessible room without my consent, although I had clearly reserved a standard room. Accessible rooms are designed specifically for guests with disabilities and there are feature modifications such as lowered sinks, lower shower, and elevated toilets (just to mention few of them). The room size is smaller due to increased space for the bathroom. By the way in the bathroom (room 312) were no shelves. At no point during check-in was I informed about this room reassignment. The front desk staff appeared disinterested, offering only rehearsed, impersonal responses. Such behavior falls far below the standards expected of any hotel advertising as four-star hotel. Furthermore, the hotel's location …. It is situated a considerable distance from the city center, requiring 40 -45 minutes to walk , and approximately 20–25 minutes to the central station — a journey made extremely difficult by narrow sidewalks and frequent street crossings, especially when traveling with luggage.
