Location was amazing. Staff was incredible. And very charming The WiFi was weak, parts were under construction but no noise at all and the bed was a little firm for my liking

The staff was absolutely amazing !!! Extreme tentative to our needs . They went above and beyond to help me out with a crisis I created by leaving my phone in private car once we arrived in Firenze !!!! I loved everything about this property !

Wonderful location. Shops and historical buildings within easy walking distance. Beautiful modern room, well appointed and decorated. Breakfast was very nice as was the dining room.

Location / staff Extra for breakfast

Location was excellent. The single room was well appointed as described, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty. The "a la carte" option which was included in the price was a bonus! The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly, The bed was too firm. It would be ideal if properties provided removable toppers for those of us that prefer a softer bed.

The property was perfectly located. It was beautiful, clean and beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. We will stay again if ever in Bologna.

I simply cannot think of any real negatives. FYI, the rooms' size is in general on the medium size, but rooms are organized and furnished so well, that they are super comfortable anyway.

Location Nothing

The location was exceptional. The hotel was very clean The front desk staff was useless. They were unable to help us with a number of requests, including helping us with side tours. When we asked on two occasions for a taxi or a car to get from place to place, they told us to get an Uber. The toilet paper was like sandpaper, the towels and robes were like burlap, and the housekeeping staff did not stock enough tissue, toilet paper or body was requiring us to call to replenish on a few occasions.

Nothing

The location was terrific and the hotel was nice. Our room was small but it was well furnished and the bathroom was large. The hotel told us when we arrived that breakfast was included in our rate. They even gave us a card that said that the breakfast was included. However, after we served ourselves breakfast, they told us that breakfast was not included in our booking and we would have to pay 35 euros per person for the two breakfasts. After they acknowledged that they had misinformed us, they agreed to give us a 50% discount on the breakfast, but they said that was the best they could do. As a result, we ended up paying approximately $40 for breakfasts that we didn't want and had only eaten because they said it was included. In my 40 years of staying at hotels, I have never previously had a hotel charge me for a mistake that they acknowledged was their fault.

One night in Bologna, Hotel Corona d'Oro was the perfect location to explore the beautiful city. Close to the city center and easily walkable from the train station.

Perfect location, absolutely adorable and helpful and responsive staff, sizable room and bathroom, lovely bar, excellent breakfast, beautiful building. My room was too hot: had to keep the windows open, though I was told I could ask for air conditioning, though that seemed rather excessive in the month of November.

I loved the restaurant bar area. The food was fabulous as well as the service.
