Albergo Rossini 1936 Small & Charming

Beautiful little hotel in a great location, less than 10 mins to piazza Maggiore. I honestly can’t faulty it, the staff was so nice and attentive, room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. I was genuinely sad to leave and I will be staying there if I’m here in Bologna again. A few more hooks in the bathroom will be really useful

Location is excellent. Breakfast very average. Scrambled eggs inedible. Juice not fresh. Rooms well proportioned but tired and dark. Staff fine but not over welcoming. Hotel felt distinctly overpriced.

Great small hotel with very nice and extremely friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were very nice, the bathrooms were newly remodeled and the hotel’s location was great. We took three rooms at three different price levels and were extremely happy with each. The air conditioning was great (we stayed during a heat wave) and the breakfast, included in the room price, was spectacular — a combination of fresh pastries, fruits, yogurt, and breads together with made to order crepes, eggs, pancakes and meat/cheese plates. We would definitely stay again in an instant.

In my opinion, this was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The staff were exceptionally friendly, polite, and professional. As a lovely personal touch, I was welcomed with a handwritten note and some chocolates. The breakfast was outstanding. As soon as you arrive, the staff offer coffee and a variety of freshly prepared items in addition to the buffet, including avocado toast, cheese selections, pancakes, and many other options. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. The air conditioning was a real lifesaver during the warm weather while remaining pleasantly quiet. The Wi-Fi was also fast and reliable, easily sufficient for streaming. The location is excellent as well. It is only about a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport, within walking distance of the city center, and surrounded by many great restaurants. The area is quiet and relaxing, although my room was facing the inner courtyard. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bologna, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly staff, especially Ms. Alina, an exceptional host! Very clean rooms, large bathroom and a very diverse and quality breakfast. There is a construction site in front of the hotel, apparently they are working on the sewage system, and the small square right next to the hotel is a bit of a bad reputation, very suspicious individuals stay there at night.

Such helpful and friendly staff . Very clean and comfortable rooms and a fabulous breakfast . It was all good - despite major works going on in the street we really were not bothered by anything .

the staff was always kind, accommodating, and helpful. Bed very comfortable! Room cozy, very quiet property, easy to rest. Nice sized bathroom, clean, good toiletries. I had placed a note for service on bathroom mirror as instructed and request was not honored so I had to ask again (this was part of the daily service of my room). Taken care of immediately after I asked again. Room service ended too early I thought. Shower door did not close all the way.
