Sofitel was a nice hotel and a good stay for business travelers. Staff always wants to go above and beyond, breakfast buffet had a good mix of western and Indian food, and the executive rooms have a good amount of space with a couch and separate tub/shower. It made a longer stay there more comfortable for sure. Jyran had good food but otherwise the selection is a little limited in the hotel. The upstairs lounge was closed while we stayed so that was disappointing. We were not super impressed by the salon where we had pedicures (they only have one proper chair but allowed us to book simultaneous services instead of letting us know). Best to go outside the hotel to a proper pedi place in Bandra or downtown.

Nothing One small experience is enough to let me hate this whole place. I got an emergency back at my home country and had to leave 3 days earlier than the checkout date that I booked. I also chose to pay at the property instead of paying through booking. When I went to check out 3 days earlier than the checkout date. They were like “we will charge you the full amount” I kept telling them that they can’t charge me for 5 nights if I only stayed two nights. I mentioned that I got an emergency at my home country. They lied to me and said “oh we can charge you for two nights only, if you just contact booking.com, you can leave now”. On my way to the airport I contacted booking.come and explained the situation. Once I reached my country, I got a reply from booking telling me that they have contacted the hotel and the hotel refused to only charge for two nights!!! Booking.com told me that the hotel needs to approve, and that way only they will be able to charge you for two days. Basically they lied to me so that I just leave the hotel and travel and then they can withdraw the total amount for 5 days.

The taxi service was not good of the hotel they charged us 9k to the Navi Mumbai whereas we came from the same airport to this hotel in 2.3k and also in the morning we left from the hotel so not so much traffic too so I don’t understand for what they charged us 9k. My advice don’t book taxi service from the hotel instead get a cab ola or uber they take time to come but will charge you a reasonable amount.

The service standards was impeccable. I had a Bluetooth speaker in my bag and was told that I can’t take it. However, I was finally allowed to keep it.

There was a water leak in the bathroom and we reported. Commode area was too small. Others ok. The commode area. No mirror table. Mirrow is on the ward robe. Uncomfortable.

I have a Leake second day and I requested they send someone to clean but they ignored my request to replace the piece and the first day when I reached the hotel at 05:00 AM the reception lady wanted to pay for her 4000 AED security deposit and I paid 8500 AED noting including The housekeeper knocked on my door when I had a Zoom meeting and I couldn’t answer him and he opened my door and entered without my permission really not professional anymore
