Boracay Ocean Bay Hotel

Bad. Not the same as presented in the web. Opposite of what we expected. The fees collected were forfeited because the place is old and are out of standards. Next time you screen what you advertise in the web. The place is unsanitary and smells the poop and urines of cats because there are cats and dogs roaming around the facility. So many ants in the rest room and the room stinks too like an old place. The stairs are so steep and there was no elevators to the upper floors. Signage to locate the place was too small that we had a hard time locating the place. The place is very dirty and having a bad smell surrounding and old furniture ls are used including the rooms. Total renovation and upgrades must be done.

The walls have water damage, and the window mirrors are dirty. The bathrooms are also very small and cramped. I accidentally selected 3 guests instead of 4 when making the booking, and I only realized it on the day of check-in. I booked 3 bedrooms. I tried contacting the owner through the booking platform, but received no response. I checked the price difference between 3 and 4 guests, and it’s only $10 for the entire 2-night stay. However, they are charging me $10 per day instead.

Not at all The room we received was not the same as the one we booked. On Booking.com, guests are required to indicate the number of people staying, including children, before completing the reservation. I am confident that I entered this information correctly; however, the reception staff informed me that it was not included and implied that the issue was my mistake. Additionally, the room was not very clean, and there were safety concerns as the door was damaged.

This hotel is ideally located just steps from the beach and nearby restaurants, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stay. It's clean, well-maintained, and offers a decent, comfortable environment. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating—they even went the extra mile by preparing our breakfast exactly how we requested. A wonderful place for a pleasant and convenient getaway. Some issues we experienced during our stay include a power outage at dawn, the TV not working, and the air conditioning not being very cold.

Location is very close to the sea side in terms of value of money its affordable, The facility a bit old but overall it was acceptable

Closer to the beach The towels were stained and sheets. Its too old. Not enough soap.

Friendly staff. No one changed the sheets, towels and cleaned the room. Water heater in our room was not working, raised our concern but they ignored us.
