Kamusta Boutique Hotel

Stayed at Kamusta Boutique Hotel in Boracay with colleagues and it was such a great experience! The hotel is conveniently located right on the roadside making it super accessible, especially if you want to catch the sunrise at Bulabog Beach. The main beach is just a 2–3 minute walk away, which is perfect for quick dips or evening strolls. We stayed in a dorm-style room for 5 people. It is comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for a group. The vibe was chill and welcoming, making it easy to relax after a day of activities. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the overall atmosphere was cozy yet lively. Perfect spot for friends or colleagues looking for an accessible, fuss-free stay in Boracay without compromising comfort. The AC in groupie room was slightly leaking but it was minimal and totally tolerable.

It is very close to the beach specifically station 1. There a lot of restaurants nearby so it’s very convenient and It was also in front of the road so it was easy to get to Dmall or go anywhere downtown as a lot of e-trike pass by the hotel. The A/C worked very well and it didn’t take too long to cool the whole room. The mini ref also worked great and the best mini fridge I’ve used in hotels which can actually keep ice! They also provide electric kettles for when you need hot water. The water pressure in the bathroom was very good too and I didn’t have problems with water supplies. They provide beach towels and they let you borrow their handy and iconic yellow tote bag too in case you didn’t bring any bags for your things when you go to the beach. Checking out was a breeze and the lady at the front desk was kind enough to help me with my luggage since the stairs from their reception area going down to the entrance/exit was quite steep. Their was no elevator and the reception area was located at the 2nd floor so you have to go up a few steep steps before reaching the front desk. All the rooms are located at the 2nd floor and up (no elevators). The bed sheets were stained when I arrived. I asked if it wasn’t washed but the staff just told me that they just changed it and that it was new. I asked for a change of sheets on my 3rd day before I went out, but, when got back they just made the bed and the stain was still there. I stayed at the room where there was a balcony facing the road, so all the noises from outside is very audible. There was a leak on the ceiling that drips on the back of the bed’s headboard. When I checked, they probably already knew about the leak because there was a towel on the floor that was moist. There was a weird smell from the bathroom. On my first day, there was a shampoo & shower gel dispenser but no shower gel, so I asked for a shower gel at the reception but I was told they didn’t have shower gels. I asked for any soap and that was the only time the staff offered a hand soap. The next day though, I confirmed from the other receptionist if they really don’t have shower gels which confused her, and she was able to immediately provide me with one to refill the dispenser. I was also asked to sign some papers again on my second day and was told I need to check in (again?). I confronted the receptionist again and they confirmed I was already checked in.

Worth its price

Vibrant shades of the room. All is fine but you can hear a lot of noises from the outside. I CAN HEAR A LOT OF NOISES INSIDE THE ROOM especially from the lobby (my room is beside the lobby) I cant rest properly or relax for a moment. Disturbing. I couldn’t sleep peacefully for 4 days of stay. Do something about it. The toilet has an awful smell even when you flush it.
