Everything is wonderful!, we are family of 10! And we all enjoyed staying in astoria current! Super clean and all the staff form the front desk, housekeeping, lifeguard , food and beverages all the employees went all above and beyond to the guest! I salute all of them! We definitely coming back! ❤️ Nothing

I was hungover when I woke up and it felt very unusual then a normal hangover so I called the front desk and they got me a nurse to bring me nausea medication. They also had free swimsuit drying which is very convenient Only thing that was slightly annoying is the bathroom layout, the shower sometimes got the bathroom wet and the toilet isn’t positioned well. I also didn’t have a outlet by my bed which was a bit inconvenient

This was our second time at Astoria Current with our young daughter. We have been to Boracay 15 times combined in the last 10 years so are familiar with the island and hospitality. We are blown away by the hospitality of Astoria Current staff. We felt loved by each staff member and it was a joy to watch them interact with our 1 year old. We had staff remember us from last year! They made meal times that but easier by being willing to hold her or distract her in addition to their usually busy roles. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cool. No ask is too big for Astoria staff. At the lifeguard station near the main pool you can borrow sand toys and balls

The room was nice and had a large bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Noise…the loudest hotel that I have ever stayed in. All rooms surrounded a pool where the noise started before 7:45 AM. Every evening at 7:00 PM there was music in the open air restaurant that was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation in your room. In addition, there were fire dancers by the pool every evening with even louder music than the restaurant. It was the least peaceful two weeks of my life!

Very nice location, quite, tropical neighborhood, with a lot of pretty cafes and restaurants nearby. Well maintained hotel, with so polite staff, who care about everything you could need. Pleasant atmosphere, polite barmen, hardworking housekeeping crew. Insane swimming pool, very modern and comfortable pool chairs. Fire dancing shows poolside by the evenings. Comfortable and well equipped rooms.

The staff was very polite and friendly, and they played with our children, which was especially helpful during breakfast. The room was cleaned every day, and the floors were washed. The food was varied and delicious. When the fire show was on in the evening, the passage to our room was closed, and we had to go around the pool using the steps, which isn't very convenient when you have a stroller. The plumbing in the room needs updating.
