Booked for a couple of days break while already staying nearby in another property. Fantastic location. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Could do with a bit of a clean in communal areas but that didn’t bother us.

Location location location!!! Fabulous In the centre close to tram line, 2 mins walk to main shopping area. 3 doors down from tourist information. Lovely friendly staff in a friendly and welcoming city. I don't live there

Great location for access to everywhere. AC unit n the room was great considering the 40+ temperatures. Small room, bed was clumpy, not safest tub for older people. WiFi in and out. No safe.

Great location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Old, but comfortable rooms. Great value for money! The hallway flooring was uneven and we had z couple of trips.

Location was the best part, central to everything, staff were helpful, nice budget type hotel It’s a budget style hotel, so yes things coyness better, but it was comfortable & close to everything, food was good as well

Location is great. Bag storage facilities good too. Staff very helpful. Aircon worked well. Comfy bed. A little tired deco and scruffy in some places.

The central location is 10/10, in the block next to the Opera but quiet. There are tram stops to everywhere. The pavement cafe area and the breakfast area have atmosphere and are pretty nice, being in a grand old building. There is a lift, which not all old buildings have. The staff were friendly. The bed itself was very clean with fresh crisp sheets, which made up for the interiors being rather old and faded. The air conditioning also worked well, which was a blessing in the heatwave. The carpet in the hallways and in the room was quite bad. Although it had been vacuumed diligently, there's no escaping it's old, stained, and makes you not want to walk on it barefoot. The room was reasonably clean—I could tell the room and the bathroom had been cleaned as well as humanly possible, but past guests' hair was still stuck on that carpet, because that kind of fitted carpet is impossible to clean well. If you changed the carpet, the whole hotel would get an instant upgrade. The price on Booking.com was deceptive as it didn't include 20 euros of another fee the hotel charged separately. All in all, though, the central location seemed fair for the price, under 100 euros.

The location and surrounding amenities were abundant. Room rather small with dull outlook but had everything one needs. There were more appealing rooms with a brighter view but we booked late and were not disappointed. Mattress was probably ready to be upgraded and I would not choose a double bed for two people again. All was forgiven, however, as the location of the hotel was superb! Tram stop to Airportand Gare just up St Catherine which was a pedestrian only Street with a plethora of wonderful varied shops…10 minute walk. The impressive River was just 10 minutes walk in the other direction. I would certainly choose this hotel AGAIN. Perfect restaurants right and left.

location, bike storage Excellent hotel at fair rate for your Bordeaux visit. If you bring your bike realise you have to haul it up the stairs to the storage. But the it is super safe
