Very quiet location and nice peaceful room with a comfortable bed. Good location as across the very large river but easy to walk across the bridge to centre of Bordeaux or get a tram. Friendly owner of hotel who stayed and chatted through breakfast and offered local stewed prunes. We had to request pastries that were ordered the night before, they were ok but the French bread was better.

The hosts were exceptionally agreeable & accommodating. Went out of their way to provide assistance with lost baggage, and also to provide tips on local restaurants. The breakfast was also very pleasant. Easy walking distance across the bridge to key attractions Everything was good and as advised. I had the attic room - simple & functional, and ok in the heat too!

Staff was great, and the property was in good condition. Warm and helpful owners. The communication wasn't great. A day before I was set to leave, I was informed that they had double booked my room and I will have to pack up and switch rooms during my stay, twice. As I was there for a conference, this wasn't easy and I had to negotiate with them to change it to only one day of my stay. Thankfully, they moved my bags for me, but this wasn't a stress I was pleased with. Secondly, the location of the place was on the other side of the old town, where a tram was supposed to connect us across the bridge. The fact that the tramline was under repair was not mentioned when I was in communication with the hotel, and it made going to the city centre challenging, especially in the heat. There was also no elevator, in case this is an important thing for you, but it is declared in the hotel listing.

Hôtel confortable et accueil très sympa. Propre et agréable. Il suffit de traverser le pont pour se retrouver au cœur de Bordeaux.

A very friendly and welcoming host who spoke good English. A very clean room. Perfect for a short stay. The hotel was as described, so I cannot really fault it.

Loved staying here. People running it were helpful and kind. Room was spotless. Bathroom was well thought out and the shower big enough. Everything worked properly and was of decent quality. Would stay again Breakfast was perfectly good (good quality, enough, coffee acceptable), but a little basic.

Quiet, comfortable and close to city centre with good access to the tram. Host was superb! Heavier curtains over the windows would have been nice to block out the light in the early morning.

The location and great public transport.

The property was clean and comfortable! The location was also quiet. We loved it.

Owner kind and helpful. Easy walk across bridge to centre. A bit of outside noise from tram passing - fixed w earplugs!

Clean quiet and comfortable, with a helpful hostess. Would happily stay here again. For a 2 star this close to the centre of Bordeaux I couldn’t fault it at all.
