Beautifully & uniquely decorated, meticulously clean with attention to detail, within walking distance to old town attractions & the train station-but most of all George are host with a great sense of humor warmly welcomed us into his home!
-
The host of this small boutique guest house, Georges, should receive a 10 out of 10. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful on everything you'd ever want to know about Bordeaux and environs. Really couldn't ask for more!

I loved everything about my stay here. My room was spacious and decorated impeccably. The owner treats you like family and wants you to have an excellent stay in Bordoux. He recommended a restaurant that was my best meal on my 7 week trip and I have had a lot of good food. I loved the soaking tub and jacuzzi. Georges, the owner serves an incredible breakfast in your room and delivers exactly when requested. You will not regret staying in a room here. Easy to walk to most tourist sites and restaurants. The room air conditioning which is great for summer months. Again I can’t say enough wonderful things about the owner and my experience. Everything was perfect. No downside.

We chose this location because it is walkable to the train station but visitors should note it is slightly outside the beautiful core of Bordeaux and feels a little rough at night. Also visitors with mobility issues should know there are stairs.

Beautiful and comfortable room.

We liked everything about the property! The room was cute and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the shower was exceptional. George was very nice and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Everything was great.

Georges is a warm and welcoming host. He gave us a great orientation to the city. The guest house is close to the Capucin market, a must see, and the Place de la Victoire. The pictures don’t do the room justice. It’s large and luxurious. Great shower and your own private deck and jacuzzi! Plus many nice extras in the room. Georges has thought of everything to make our stay A Wonderful Experience! Absolutely Nothing

Everything was as promised and everything we needed was provided. A very large bathtub and nice shower and an outdoor porch. Really had a wonderful time in Bordeaux. Georges was very helpful and gave us some greta recommendations for what to see and where to eat. We would highly recommend the accommodations. Don't be put off by the front of the building, inside the apartment was wonderful.

The apartment is beautifully and whimsically appointed, with a great tropical color scheme, fixtures, skylights with retractable shades, and a private deck with hot tub. Georges was a wonderful and attentive host who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and outline several sights to see in and around Bordeaux. Really nothing other than the trash on the streets and graffiti on walls throughout much of the city, but this obviously has nothing to do with our rental.

George was very welcoming and helped with our luggage. We were only staying for one night so he pointed out the highlights of the city on a map and pointed us in the direction for finding a restaurant. We opted to skip the breakfast because we had a tour planned for the morning so we had breakfast at a cafe. From the street, it's not the most glamourous but once inside the room was excellent and we had not issues.

This oasis in the city is immaculately maintained, as host Georges shows genuine care and regard for guests. A pleasant scent greets guests once in the main door, and continues throughout common areas and the rooms. Thoughtfulness is throughout: placement of outlets, lights, morning beverage options, facial tissues, luxurious shower, perfectly comfortable bed and more. The room we experienced is light and quiet. The climate system worked well. Georges offers bespoke recommendations for experiences and dining. Always available, he makes the stay extra special. Can't give enough praise for Georges. Highly recommend a stay.

Needs Sign on the front of his building so it is easier to identify on a very busy street.?

Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was great. We liked that we were in a real neighbourhood, off the tourist track but within walking or tram distance to everything. The Capuchin market is nearby & wonderful.
-
On our arrival we were greeted promptly by the owner, who gave us a lovely rundown of the attractions, restaurants and other useful tips for Bordeaux and its surrounds. He reassured that despite first impressions it was a safe neighbourhood. In particular his recommendation to purchase the Bordeaux City Pass was invaluable. Milk for coffee and tea - I probably should have asked!

Property was conveniently located and the rooms were nice and comfortable.
-
Great location to the center of town, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, very nice shower & bath. Exceptionally gracious host who gave us a very warm welcome with wonderful suggestions for sight-seeing & restaurants. The noise from the street was a little loud from street-side room on this Saturday night (eh oui, Bordeaux won the rugby match)! It felt safe to walk with others through the neighborhood at night.
-
Charming, 300 year old guest house, beautifully decorated, safe, pristinely clean, close to the city’s largest market (a must see), and a mile from city center and the water. Georges, the host, was gracious, available, and gave us an excellent itinerary of what to see and do in the city. No complaints

Great hotel, great host, very central location. We enjoyed our 4 nights there and we were able to walk everywhere as well as being close to the streetcar stop. The bed was a bit hard but otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Lovely, clean, spacious room. Comfy bed and very peaceful. Georges was very helpful with local areas of interest. We had an enjoyable visit.
