It's not only about this hotel but about a lot during our trip - we booked room for 2 adults and a kid but they provided us only with 2 big towels. Why??? Additing kid to a reservation adds costs but for some reason no additional service. At first morning we were provided with backery, snacks, coffee, But at second morning there were already omlet suggested in a aditional to previous day. It was frustrating. Sound proofing is so bad as I wrote above. Stuff does not speak English, only Italian

Location We checked out after 1 night as the area was basically a construction site and the gondel was not working. If this was actually mentioned during booking we would have found an alternative. So recommendation would be to mention this upfront to avoid a poor feedback as location itself is nice if all is in place and gondel working, now it turned into a deception

Lovely hotel, great restaurant, very quiet and out of the way up the side of the mountain. Nothing

The views of the mountains and Bormio were amazing. The restaurant onsite was good. It was pretty quite because it was summer, in the winter it would be very busy in the central snowfield area It was hard not to notice the flys inside the restaurant, however that was not a major issue.

Delicious Italian breakfast. Beautiful view from the room and balcony. Silence, bright room. Deck chairs to relax. The restaurant is open until the evening, so you have a place to eat after returning from your trip. Nice owners. I will go back there again lack

To begin with, the lady (the owner's mother) who greeted us an arrival and was in charge with the breakfast the following morning did her very best to fulfill her duties. She can't speak English, I barely speak Italian but we managed to communicate beautifully. Hats off for her energy and dedication. Breakfast was plentiful: packaged jam, honey, biscuits etc. You have to try the cheese; it's made by them and it's a treat in itself. It comes with a serving of smoked ham, just as delicious. We were lucky to get some more of the cheese when we told the lady we really liked it. ? The photos of the rooms are misleading! We booked a double / twin room expecting it to look like the one in the photos below - they are screenshots of my booking confirmation. We got something far below those standards. There's a review of someone from Croatia (June 26th 2023) which has two photos attached - that's the exact room we got. The shower was leaking so heavily that we "managed" to cover half of the bathroom floor with water. The sound proofing is non-existent: we heard every flush of the toilets in the other rooms, every tap being turned on and off, every discussion in the kitchen/restaurant downstairs. We didn't report any of these to reception. If they can't see that the bathroom is full of water when they do the cleaning, what's the point in complaining? The food we ordered at the kiosk restaurant was terrible. I had spaghetti carbonara which were as dry as they can be, definitely reheated quickly and served. There was no trace of the carbonara sauce and I had to look hard for the meat. So, literally, I ate boiled spaghetti only. I ate them as there was no restaurant around but I complained straight away. They offered to bring a pizza, on the house, but I turned it down. My wife had (a tiny) lasgna but that was reheated as well. It couldn't have been ready in 5 minutes - that's how "fast" the service was for our order. They also brought a foccacia, free of charge, which I only tasted as I was already thinking of leaving the place as soon as possible. All in all, this is not a rant against Gallo Cedrone but a realistic picture of what we got.

Located on the mountain at cable car station offer basic hotel services (need 10 min drive from Bormio). Photos shown on Booking.com are not even similar to actual room we were in (actual pictures attached). Staff speaking basic English, hard to understand. Pizza OK. Lasagne not enough for small child Spaghetti carbonara OK.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. The highlight was the home made cake at breakfast! Very thin walls; if you are unlucky with noisy neighbors, you can follow their conversations.

very nice staff, great breakfast and the lady was very nice. Beds comfortable and even though it was off season and we were the only ones, they behaved like it was in full season.
