Pennyweight Hotel Boston, Curio Collection by Hilton

The hotel was beautifully designed, the location was excellent- walkable to Boston Public Market, Quincy Market, the North End, the waterfront, and a short drive to the airport. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent hotel around the corner from North Station. Well appointed and clean with a very helpful staff that directed us to an open restaurant when we arrived close to midnight. Despite the good decor and friendly staff, the breakfast was mediocre at best and not worth the very high price: insipid toast, bland eggs, and neutral coffee. This is the perhaps the only point the hotels corporate genes show.

Room could use a through cleaning, was ok. Breakfast was disappointing, limited menu. Staff were very good at check in. Room lacked any information about facility or area.

The hotel is nice and modern and overall clean. Our biggest complaint is that housekeeping did not come to service our room and when we asked reception they simply said that housekeeping had finished for the day. The rest of our party in other rooms had the same issue.

Easy access to the event, great staff, and wonderful environment

Hotel felt safe and clean - nice comfortable lobby, good breakfast from hotel cafe. Since it is a very urban part of the city, room looked over airshaft, no view & window could not be opened, I'm sure for safety reasons, but I like a little fresh air if possible. I stayed for over a week & after 3 days my daughter and I noticed there had been no change of sheets, no new towels, no garbage taken out. The door hanger card on both sides said "do not disturb " There was no option for "please clean room." When I spoke with front desk about it, they said there was a policy of not cleaning rooms unless asked but they didn't tell me at check in. In any case, once I brought it to their attention, the room was cleaned regularly, trash was taken out, etc. I just thought it was odd there was no easy "clean room" option on door hanger like most other hotels. Staff was nice. There were some homeless folks hanging around the streets near the hotel day and night. Not a big deal if you are used to cities or if you are driving rather than walking, but if my daughter was young, I likely would have preferred a different location for our stay. Train station neighborhoods aren't usually the classiest parts of a city, so I knew that going in, and we wanted to travel a bit, so being near the train station was good for us. Overall, it was a good hotel and we enjoyed our visit.

Great location. Valets were the only nice employees of the establishment. Love the room decor. What looked like a promising stay devolved into a complete nightmare. Zero customer service. Zero management. Incredibly rude staff. They don't answer the phone. They send you a text to ask you about your stay, but when you raise a serious concern, they do not respond. Unsafe. Imagine my surprise when I was sitting on the hotel bed and some random guy keys into my room. He said the front desk had given him keys to my room. Shocked that this is a Hilton establishment.

Overall a great stay! Very clean and the staff was extremely helpful with all my questions!

Friendly enough staff, great location. We booked through Expedia and some requests got lost in transition. We were traveling with teens and booked two adjoining rooms, but wound up 8 floors apart. Rooms were lovely and AC was perfect (constant white noise as opposed to repetitive cycling you get in many hotels). Only there one night so can’t comment on amenities.

Modern and nice decor Overpriced

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it was very welcoming. The only qualm I have is that the shower wasn’t very clean, and there was hair on the walls.
