One of our favorite places in Boulder!

The shower was disgusting and the ac didn’t work in our room it was over 100 degrees by the time we went to lay down for bed. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night and having to find other accommodations for our stay. Staff were very unprofessional, rude, and not helpful at all in regards to getting us a different room. I called the front desk as soon as we checked in and they said maintenance would come by and look at our ac. Maintenance never showed up and when I went back to the front desk it was a different clerk who said my call earlier hadn’t even been logged nor was maintenance notified in the first place. Horrible experience. Will not be going back and will be requesting a refund.

Car window broken parked in the lot. Can’t really blame the Hotel but disappointing.

While the hotel was eclectic and charming in an antique sort of way, I have a few complaints. The pillows were awful, tiny little squares. There were no ice machines on the different floors. The rooms could have been decorated in ANY sort of way, but were very bare bones minimal. Also, our friends staying in a different room did not have working AC in their room, so we ended up cramming 4 people into one room because the hotel staff could not service the AC unit and there were no other rooms available.

Pretty rough. Chose for location but will travel next time. Avoid.

Needed a place to stay, so it worked. Smells and looks very old.

Location was fine except for proximity to a freeway. It seems to have some history, which was interesting. The wifi worked. The bed was adequate though nothing to write home about. Front desk folks (the only staff we interacted with) were courteous and did the best they could with the little the hotel has to offer. This is a BARE BONES hotel. The only amenities are coffee in the former coffee bar, free wifi, and a pool next to the highway. No coffee in the room, no information sheet, no breakfast, no frills of any sort. (There were TV, microwave, barely adequate refrigerator, and hair dryer, but those aren't really frills). First room they offered us smelled like vomit and the second one merely smelled funky. Bad smells everywhere, in fact. They called it a "king room" but it had only one full-size bed. Bare, empty room in the hall where presumably an ice machine used to be. I could go on. . . definitely a "Shining" vibe. Might not have felt quite so bad if we hadn't paid almost $500 for two nights. In fairness, I did meet a couple of guests who liked the place fine; to each his own I guess. But buyer beware!

Very expensive vs the quality.

They should have better breakfast service

Odd sort of place. Swimming pool was too hot to swim in. Room was so dated. Couldn't find a plug in near to the bed for phone. Toilet bowl had a crack in it. Staff was just so far away from service oriented. I felt like I was interrupting them whenever I approached them. After day 3 they were nice, but I wouldn't want to stay there again. Made Days Inn look like a good option. So proud they are sold out for the Sun Dance season, but folks will not be happy with the accommodations as they are now. Time for a face lift Broker. What an weird second floor area too. Good luck.

The mattress is barely a step up from concrete. Bring your own pillow!

The lobby and decor was so much fun. There was plenty of parking and the location was close to everything we needed to get to during our stay. The desk staff was very helpful. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pool but the hotel was clean, although dated. It was still charming.

Literally nothing. The hotel was under construction so the bar, game room, pool etc were not open and this was not known before hand. It looked nothing like the pictures and the man at the front desk told me they pay for google reviews and pictures.

Very dated. Old. Way overpriced. No amenities.
