lovely room. loved the balcony. Calvary was great nothing we did not like.

Good location / well presented Residents are not a priority - it’s a restaurant. Nowhere to sit other than at a dining table! Room not serviced day one. Only carvery or burger 1st night and food was clearly left over from lunch when two coach loads were served. They said food delivery had failed! 2nd room booked was grossly over priced. See photograph of so called lounge. Access to rooms was dangerous ( see photos). Broken step, no handrail, slippery with wet leaves and not well lit at night. Breakfast selection had to be ordered the night before! Food generally poor - items on plate overcooked. Rooms clean but bed super soft and uncomfortable. No shelf or draw facilities. I could go on - all very disappointing.

It’s a really cute pub that has so much potential to be what they claim to be. The food was outstanding in the pub. The pub staff were very friendly for the most part and tried to be very accommodating. The view from the patio of the pub was beautiful. The bedrooms (all of them) are right next to a road and you hear all of the road noise. The rooms are clean on the surface (sheets are changes, clean towels, toilet bowl clean) but generally not cleaned to the standard of public accommodation. The bathroom floor was filthy, shower glass and plumbing fixtures were gross. The bathroom floor had residue around d the edge. Nothing had been dusted or wiped down so there was grime on most surfaces. The check in process was atrocious. There is a number to call but no one answers. We waited outside the location for over an hour until the dishwasher at the pub showed up and he gave us keys to our room. I called all the numbers listed and sent emails and still have had no response from the property owners. Our room also was advertised to have a balcony…but it hadn’t been cleaned or set up for use.

Location was perfect for us. Facilities were great. Wonderful welcome and the staff were so interactive with customers. We joked that we've never been anywhere where the staff seemed so happy!! The accommodation set up was fabulous with separate lounge area and large bathroom. Busy road runs alongside, very noisy but hardly the Hotels fault.

Tiny issue which I raised with lovely breakfast team. Our heating didn't work in either room, but thankfully our friends were staying nextdoor/upstairs, ?. So it would have been freezing otherwise. Other than amazing quirky place, great them. Thank you Fi ,& Michael. The bar closed during the time people are wanting to arrive. That's all xx

Really great vegetarian breakfast, staff were lovely and very accommodating!

I had a really nice split level suite which was modern and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was a mid week special with a starter and carvery for main meal, this was very nice. It is set on a very busy and noisy road but the traffic does die down after 8pm, but unfortunately it starts again from 6am.

The room was ok in general, bathroom and bed was clean. The restaurant was nice and people were very kind. Carpet in the room was gross, the dirt was clearly visible. There was a part in the restaurant that didn t smell very well. Food for dinner was 5/10

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was top quality. The bed was very comfortable The food was good The bath and shower were lovely. The t.v was a nice size and had internet connection. The room was a bit cold. This was partly because the floor heating had broken in the bathroom. The meals were only served until early evening, 730 was the latest time available. The main road where the punchbowl is, is busy in the morning and the traffic noise is quite noticable. There is also a kennel not far away and the dogs can be heard every now and again, although they were quiet at night. Three of the 10 lights in the room were out, which made it a bit dark.
