Front desk was excellent at check-in made everything comfortable very friendly an informative same with the morning staff There was nothing I didn't like about the place

Liked their breakfast. Older place but it was clean. Carpets are getting old and the place could use little renovation. I did feel safe staying there. Parking lot could be larger. Almost not enough parking for all guests.

This may be one of my first really negative reviews of a hotel. One of the worst Stays we've ever had. Do not bring your family here. It feels dirty and unsafe And reeks of dope. First they sent us to a room that had people already Staying in it when we open the door. The bedsheets were stained, wee had to get fresh ones from the front desk that we put on our bed. Everywhere was so dirty it was disgusting, food and garbage laying on the floor everywhere And mounds of garbage overflowing out of the garbage bin In the parking lot. People sitting in their cars all night smoking whatever, I kept getting up to check my vehicle because it didn't seem safe. La Quinta is definitely off our hotels Search now.

The last morning we were there we found a bed bug crawling on my daughters blanket. I brought it down to the front desk and was told "it's only a bug." Then she said she would show (it was dead by that time) her manager and have the manager call me. Never received a call. Sent an email. Never received an acknowledgement back. Then called again. Told someone would call me back. Never received another call. We heat treated or through away things we couldn't to hopefully not bring any into our home. It was extra hours of time to do all of this and extra cost. Very disappointing for the hotel to ignore. In addition, the garbage was overflowing on the third floor next to the elevator, people were running the halls until midnight on Friday, and the main floor bathroom was not clean when I used it. Also the breakfast was supposed to open at 6 am. We had to leave by 6:15 so we're hoping to do a quick breakfast. It did not open until 6:15 and we were looked at like an inconvenience for already being down there. There are signs all over saying don't leave with food so no breakfast that day. We were not the only ones waiting. I will NOT go back. That stay cost us so much extra time and money and no one took us seriously with the bed bud. I do have a picture and can provide it! I even brought it down to the front desk! I just tried to upload the photo here but weird, it won't let me.

Very clean rooms. The pool was good but the maintenance room door was often open and wouldn't close. I don't know why a hotel pool wouldn't open before 9 am. The pool is not attached to rooms. The kids are awake at 6 or 7 so we could certainly use it earlier. Rooms were smaller but we'll decorated and clean. The showers were a pleasant chance from your standard white plastic tub.

The staff was wonderful

The room was ok but would have been better if the bedroom AC worked properly, it didn’t provide much coolness. The fridge was iced up and took long time to cool. Breakfast was awful with the identical items all 4 days. From our observation There are people living in this hotel which seemed sad to us as they had small children eating these high carbs breakfasts everyday and running around the parking lot in pajamas for their morning exercise. The staff were helpful and friendly which we appreciated. Rooms were clean. I probably will stay elsewhere next time we are in the twin cities.

Disappointing

This property was great for the price. Clean and with comfortable beds. We were only there for one night as we were passing through, but it was better than I expected. It would be! Staff were friendly breakfast was included, and service was great!

Wifi was too weak to use for work.

Cleanliness and breakfast. The bed sheets gave me an allergic reaction all over my skin… I still have little bumps on my fingers from the bedsheets. otherwise everything else wasn’t that bad.

Semi clean. Didnt really get a good clean in the bathrooms. Also didnt provide more toilet paper then what was there for a 4 day stay

Were in town to see our son and go to a Twins game. The room was spacious and clean. Very nice arrangement with the sink outside of the shower/toilet room. Great water pressure. Was quiet and AC worked well. Easy to get to the propery.
