Hotel Navarra Brugge

Lovely, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast.

Location is excellent as it is walking distance (5 min) to the main old town square and Belfry. It is a heritage building and there is a small garden at the back. Three floors. Belfry tower is a must visit (due to its many bells, and you get a chance to watch them in action); but tickets is best bought 2 days before hand because it sells out due to the regulation limiting number of visitors per hour (during our July 2026 visit). Breakfast is good, service excellent. Room is a tad small, with a small desk. There is a swimming pool in the basement. Room was a bit small.

It was close to the square and the rooms were very comfortable.

Loved it!! At times breakfast staff can be less friendly. Front desk staff is great!!!

History of hotel

The location was excellent and area relatively quiet. Also, the staff were very accommodating. I also LOVED learning about the history of the building! The renovations were quite tasteful as well, as they retained the historic nature of the building while updating the facilities sufficiently to accommodate the needs of today's travelers. I would return again!

Very good location, nice people, very nice large room, clean and comfortable. i was accomodated in a house instead of the hotel. 2 floors up, difficult stairs and no elevator. Room on the streetside, with a lot of noise of drunk people at night. could hardly sleep. bathroom of 3 m2(!) : this is not doable if there is a shower, a sink and a toilet in this narrow space. Minibar available but empty.

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and the cocktails in the Jazz Bar were really good thanks to the fantastic bar staff! Pool and sauna are a nice addition. A little swim in the pool after travelling all day was a welcome treat. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again or recommend.

The hotel was gorgeous , very clean , modern and comfortable . Location was great , quiet yet close to everything . The breakfast was amazing and staff was extremely professional. The indoor pool was too cold to swim in, sauna a bit small , the room heater was not warming room well, so staff brought in space heater which resolved issue

Great location just a few minutes' walk from the Grote Markt (and about a 25 minute walk from the train station). The staff were friendly and helpful on checking in. The room itself was a decent size with lovely high ceilings, and in terms of cleanliness my wife described it as "spotless", a word I rarely hear!! The bed was beautifully comfortable and the radiators highly responsive so we could get exactly the temperature we wanted (we visited in December so did not try the air-conditioning). The bathroom was also clean and spacious. At breakfast was good and the hotel bar relaxing. We used the sauna and pool a couple of times. Both are small but it was a nice facility to use. Not much - we were very happy with everything and would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous property, two mins from the Centre and market square. Went for the Bruges Christmas market which was just a minute walk. Bruges is truly a fairytale city made even more beautiful during Christmas. Navarra Brugge brings out entire spirit of the city and Christmas in its hotel. It is charming, the staff is very warm and welcoming, the room size and bathroom size is wonderful. If you are looking for a lovely property in Brugge don’t hesitate and book Navarra Brugge.

The proximity to the old town center was perfect (Markt). The Bartender was an absolutely lovely person. People at front desk were reserved (maybe cultural thing) but helpful when asked questions and helped us get a taxi (they spoke English as well). The view toward old town and the nice church bells ringing in the morning set the stage. The hotel feels very upscale and was the best value of similar properties we stayed in in 6 different European Cities. The nice arrival at courtyard and the European feel, flags and vines on walls were a nice first impression. Do the canal tour, have a Duvel on draft at Duveltorium and have breakfast at Toast. More of commentary on city, most businesses close on Monday so make sure you have dinner reservations and avoid eating on the main square touristy area unless you don't have a choice (which is what happened to us).
