Location was perfect, directly in the historic centre which made getting to everything very easy

Great view from room and friendly staff.

Breakfast was comprehensive, fresh, and delicious. Sophie, the manager, was kind and thoughtful, and our rooms were very comfortable. The option to store our luggage enabled our family to make the most of our stay in Bruges, and Hotel Marcel’s location is perfect. We had originally booked a room for just 1 night, but decided to stay 1 more night! We have no dislikes to share.

Perfectly located within walking distance from major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Spacious room and bathroom. Amazing breakfast with great selection. Elevator. My only complaint would be the pillows. Too big for me.

Location. Good communication via messages. Coffee in the lobby. Friendly staff. Strong, hot shower. Pillows and bed were comfortable. Tiny elevator good for lifting luggage and people in need. Tiny rooms. Door squeaked (room 31 - needs oil!) No refrigerator. No chairs, only tall stools. Tiny blankets.

Great location

All is good except I guess the unclean coffee maker and the electric pot. It could use cleaning and rinsing.

Located just off the main square was a perfect area to sightsee from. You were there, but you would not eat it. When traveling we do our laundry once a week. The hotel laundromat was fantastic! it included all the washing powder, etc. Photo instructions made it easy to understand and use the machines. Everything was very clean. The breakfast at the hotel was also wonderful with a wide selection of both hot and cold food. Loved their waffle machine. We had a 3 person room facing the garden of the back of the hotel. It was really quiet and we slept in daily. Nothing. Everything was good and better than expected.

The beam in the bathroom was too low and in the way but otherwise everything was great.

People party in the street outside on the weekend. But during the weekdays it’s nice and quiet

Location was excellent. The street noise throughout the night disrupted our sleep significantly.

Nice clean room, good bed, friendly staff, great location

Very convenient to city center. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Room was very small. Upon checking in, front desk reception was fine but not particularly friendly. It was quite loud at night but I understand that’s to be expected right in the city center.

Somehow in one bed both pillows were very high and the person even decided to sleep without pillow. But in the other beds they had two sizes of pillow. Probably a mistake. Rooms are very tiny.

Linen sheets, location, very friendly staff

Excellent location, easy to find off Market Square. The family room was excellent, spacious and clean. Check in and out was easy. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff were lovely, helpful and personable. They were very accommodating to our group which we greatly appreciated. Easy walk to Market Square, other attractions, restaurants and pubs. There is a shuttle service available from the Bruges train station to Market Square for around 3 euro per person. The shuttle stop is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend Hotel Marcel. Nothing - everything was great!
