Tru by Hilton Bryan College Station

Quiet, clean and friendly staff.

The room was pretty sparse like an older college dorm room. But the staff was nice, lobby hallway room and fitness room all well maintained and clean. Breakfast was the usual but staff did make sure it was freshly stocked.

Great experience staying at Tru by Hilton. Very convenient, clean, and the staff was excellent.

This was the first time I stayed at a Hilton associated property and had a substandard experience. The trash cans were overflowing and not being emptied regularly. We had a lengthy wait at breakfast due to food not being restocked promptly. Other customers were heard/observed complaining at the front desk so we didn’t add to the anger and frustration. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence.

They had a decent breakfast The room smelled of mildew and everything felt damp. The shower was full of limescale. We found 2 different kinds of bugs. The floors were not even swept well and mopped with streaks of mud left behind. The tv wouldn’t work properly.

Property is well maintained with a friendly staff. Nice location, and good value for the money.

Was disappointed in how clean and maintained the room was. Found several long black hairs on the sheets and in the bathroom. We do not have long or black hair. The stopper in the sink did not work properly so the water didn’t drain very well. Also the door handle to the shower came apart. For what the price was that we paid for the nights, I expected the room to be cleaner and in better condition.

The young lady at the front desk was extremely sweet and professional and helped me with the situation as best she could as she was there by herself. One of the bed in our room was dirty and since no one was available to change the sheets, I was given sheets and changed them myself. And the toilet paper holder fell off the wall.

Staff wasn’t mean or anything just very un-helpful. And uninterested in helping. We had to ask all the questions: What is our room number? Where are the elevators? When is breakfast? When is checkout?

They didn’t do a very thorough job of cleaning or restocking the room with the bathroom supplies.

The front desk workers were excellent in customer service. ABOVE AND BEYOND! Landon was amazing and I didn’t get the over night young girls name she was just as amazing! Super cute hotel, good breakfast too. Conveniently located for my visit all at an affordable price! I will be back.

There was no hot water. We had to leave the property and find a different hotel. Didn’t know until arrival
