Mercure Bukhara Old Town

Great place, highly recommended :-)

Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating -- I arrived about 30 minutes before check-in time and my room was already ready and on the last day, I was allowed a late check out. This was very much appreciated as it was nearly 50 C in Bukhara that day and being able to relax in the room before my train made the day/journey much more enjoyable. In addition to the friendly staff, the location is great (about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the heart of Bukhara) and the facilities (gym, spa, etc) are wonderful. The only small problem I experienced during my stay was with the air conditioning, which is not the fault of the hotel -- there were power outages in the region due to the extreme heat and the room was without A/C for a few hours during one morning of my stay.

My experience stay 2 nights in this hotel, I feel great! warm welcome by the hotel staff, especially with Mr Mirfayz...very friendly person & handling very well when do my booking registration. Very clean and beautiful No hot water, two times I had to shower with cold water. Also breakfast wasn’t that great, very limited.

First of all, upon arrival we were placed in a room on the first floor which is a complete opposite of what have booked and doesnt have any natural light. I had to get back to the reception and request changing the room. We've been then placed on the second floor, but despite the hotel being relatively new, the room looked like its been through a lot. Cleanliness is also quite questionable. The A/C is extremely loud, this is so disturbing when you are in the room and there's no way to improve it unless you shut it down, which is impossible when there's a +40 heat outside. The floor in the bathroom is made out of the material which always remains extremely COLD, its barely walkable there barefoot. Overall hotel looks nice on the pics, but the reality is quite sad. Also consider that even though its on a walkable distance from the city center and main attractions, the road there is so narrow, full of cars, doesnt have any walking line and not pleasant to be, so that it doesnt bring any joy to walk there.

The hotel is fine and spa area is nice. However we were three couples and we all got twin beds in our rooms. Rooms are nice but that was a bit of a disappointment Restaurant menu. Salads were great but very small portions. Breakfast was ok as well

The location is good in the center of everything u want to see , the hospital stuff helps u and are professional The AC sounds in the room was a bit noisy , the breakfast was modern , I advise not to take the half board as they only offer u fish and certain dishes however the chef was kind and offered us to have our request for one time , spa is nice , but the massage was overpriced and moderate

Nice building. Bed was good. Gym was ok not great. AC didn't work. I told the front desk twice and they never fixed it. Room was 26 degrees and never colder. Hotel is a long walk on a very busy street with no sidewalks to old town. Breakfast was mediocre, thought it would be better for a French-owned hotel. Tour groups crowded the breakfast.

Very clean, beautiful interior design There was no body lotion on the bathroom. Staff at the restaurant were a bit slow. The air coditioner was broken and the room was super hot.

very new, beautiful hotel. we booked transfer from train station, as we arrive very late, and the hotel staff was texted the details a day before. room was spacious & clean. laundy very on time, massage was super super good! pool & sauna also beautiful, no one was there so we have it for ourself! we dine in the restaurant, food was really good - as well as the breakfast! nothing!

This place will always have a special meaning for me because I proposed to my girlfriend in Bukhara. And the team of Mecure Bukhara has made sure everything was beyond perfect during our special occasion. Huge thanks to Mirfayz and Umida. And apart from that the interior of the hotel and the rooms are also extremely nice. %1000 right place to stay when in Bukhara. Hopefully I will be back at another point in my life.

Abbos was very helpful

I lost my cell phone and the staff were able to call the tourist police who came to the hotel along with the taxi driver with whom I left the phone. This occurred within 1 hour after the call. Superb! Everybody was a delight at the facility and I have NO COMPLAINTS! THANK YOU! None

Interior, next door restaurant was great.

The hotel is very new . I love that the rooms are large . I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spa . I ate in the restaurant for dinner and was surprised because it was delicious. There is also restaurant Plov beside which was very good . Hotel smells so lovely each evening when we walk in .

The hotel was perfect and beautiful! Rooms were very comfortable. Service was great . Location was not so easy being not so close to the city center . About 20 minutes walk . Proximity to city center

I like all mercure hotels so i chose this one Rooms are clean and comfortable They gave us a really bad room in the first night even though i explained that i have an elderly woman with me it was so far like a maze to go to and it seemed like it wasn’t used for a while tooth paste was rock hard trash was broken the side table didn’t fit in the room so electricity was out it was mot sound proof we couldn’t sleep all night and morning because of road works outside and kids screaming inside the hotel staff changed our room but said ohh well for compensation for the night wasted 3 million soms wasted

The staff were supportive and helpful throughout my stay. My room was comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was varied enough for a vegetarian meal. The heating temperature of the room did not reach the level for which I adjusted it.
