HYATT house Boston/Burlington

I liked the hotel's location: it was close to the highway, yet there was no traffic noise, and the room was very quiet. The room was excellently equipped. Everything was new and clean—a good bed, a large shower, a comfortable living area, pleasant lighting, and effective air conditioning. But what surprised me most was the full-sized kitchen. We didn't end up using it, as we arrived after dinner and left in the morning, but I’ll keep it in mind for the future. The breakfast buffet was standard, though the option to eat outside by the pool in good weather was a nice touch. We arrived after 8 p.m., and the pool was already closed, even though it was beautifully illuminated. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use it, and I wish it had stayed open for a couple more hours.

The idea that the property had the amenities stated and was actually as nice as they are pictured on their website Absolutely filthy and dated. Pictures are not updated on the websites. Trash in the hallways upon check in, walls dirty stained and sticky, carpets needed to be vacuumed, hallways smelled disgusting, everything needed to be replaced, fixed or cleaned from the inside out. The staff we encountered minus the initial check in women who was training were all extremely unprofessional, condescending & unhelpful. Basketball court was covered in debris missing fencing and broken fencing, there was even coffee stains on the front check in desk and the response from the women Tiffany “manager” refused to cancel our reservation then blamed it on us booking through booking.com said she couldn’t do anything for us. The beds had spring sticking out. There were hairs and debris in the kitchen draws. The second room we were sent to the dishwasher was still going from previous guest and there was trash on the floor. According to Tiffany “manager” the trash in the hallways is fine because that’s what she advises the guests to do with their trash. I’d think then they would have someone take the trash before checkin time at 3pm. Seems like a liability to have hallways blocked by giant trash bags even near the elevator.

This was a fairly basic place, but all we needed was a bed. However, they have made a hash of our bill. I hope it is corrected today, but as of yesterday, there was a charge to my credit card that shouldn't have been there. I called them, and they said it wasn't fixed yet because "it was the weekend." We of course left the place on Wednesday.

The location of the property is perfect. Had to call down the night before to request cleaning, however did this and was told there was no availability to be able to clean and only requested and received cleaning with a 7 day stay.
