Nothing This particular stay was especially important to my family. We had travelled from Toronto to Oakville because my son had a very important exam the following morning, and one of the main reasons I chose to stay at a Hilton property was to ensure that we would have a clean, comfortable, and restful environment for the night. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what I expected. The first room assigned to us was on the second floor, where several rooms appeared to be under construction or renovation. The hallways in that area were noticeably dirty and the overall environment was not suitable, so I requested a different room. I was then moved to the fourth floor. The receptionist informed me that there were no other rooms available, so we accepted the room we were given. Unfortunately, we encountered an even more concerning issue there. The bedding felt noticeably damp and did not feel clean or fresh. There was also a persistent musty, damp smell in the room, which made the environment extremely uncomfortable throughout the night. The situation was significant enough that I contacted the front desk and requested two additional bedsheets. We ultimately could not comfortably use the blankets because they also felt damp. This was extremely disappointing. I specifically chose Hilton because I trusted the brand and expected a certain standard of cleanliness and comfort. Instead, we spent an important night dealing with uncomfortable room conditions when we should have been able to rest. I understand that hotels occasionally require renovations or experience maintenance issues. However, if construction or moisture-related problems are affecting guest rooms or surrounding areas to this extent, I do not believe those rooms should be offered as normally available accommodations until the issues have been properly addressed. I am requesting that management review the circumstances of our stay and provide an appropriate refund or compensation.

No meals were included, but we had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. While I am happy that grab bars were in the tub, they were installed in the wrong place… right under the shower head and against the toilet, so they were basically unusable.

We stayed for one night. The only problem was the receptionist when we arrived. She had a very clear attitude that she did not want to be there. She was eating when we arrived and received us very coldly, as if we had interrupted her meal. She charged us twice the amount of my reservation, although I was refunded the following day. She never told us where we were supposed to park our car, gave us no information about using the pool, and did not explain where or how to have breakfast. She was not even able to tell us which direction to take to find our rooms. When we arrived at one of the rooms, there were dirty dishes left on the floor outside the room. Overall, the stay was fine, but the experience at check-in was very disappointing and unprofessional.

WiFi didn’t work, tv didn’t work, Nickeisha the customer service rep was not only incredibly rude to me but other guests who stated such was an everyday occurrence. She must be fired Nickeisha, and her overall experience with myself and other guests, the staff banging on my door 5 minutes after asking for a late checkout

It was close to home, the lobby is very nice. Our room was kind of dirty- someone’s used soap was in our jacuzzi. I also thought the process was $279 but I was charged over $400.

We had the best waitress during our stay. Ero was very polite, friendly, fun and helpful. It was a pleasure talking with her and she made us smile and laugh. Our room was humid, as there had been a major water leak before we checked in, but otherwise, a great place to stay. Very nice and courteous staff. n/a
