Very clean and upscale. No refrigerators in the rooms.

Nice location. Very small room, only one side of bed had a bedside table, no bathroom fan, housekeeping didn’t clean the room, $25.00 night Urban Destination Fee????? Oh, they don’t take cash.

Beautiful view of lake Champlain from our room
-
I wish we had been on the other side of the hotel facing the water rather than the city.
-
We really enjoyed the location of this hotel as it was only a short walk to the harbor. Also, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in securing our bicycles for our stay.

Nice enough. For a hotel at this price level the amenities were mediocre. Too much focus on technology - QR codes are needed for almost any information where a simple piece of paper would make it easier. Front desk was polite, but sent you to a QR to find any actual information. Hotel restaurant was mediocre, and had a very very limited menus after 10. Room was nice. Noisy - we could hear the goings on in rooms next to us and over us. Not awful, but we will likely seek another place on the next trip to town.

Between the expense of breakfast and parking it increases the cost for the room

Expedia totally got this property wrong. It is not on the beach. There is a public beach a few miles away. I booked a lake view room that looked out on trees and the hotel would do nothing to fix it even though we are Hilton gold members. If you want a lake view room, you must book a premium room. That info is no where on Expedite website. The property also charges $80 per day as a resort fee but it is not a resort - just a downtown hotel. I felt like I was ripped off by the whole experience.

Room was great for the kids and I. Great space plenty big enough for the 3 of us. Amazing view of the lake!! Room very clean and well spaced and organized. Very nice to have the free bikes to use, though they were only a 1 speed bike. That was a heck of a 25 mile workout for us. Glad I added the breakfast during the booking purchase, it was much cheaper to do it then than at the hotel, considerably cheaper. And breakfast was amazing!! Eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, salmon, has browns, parfait, fruit, waffles, pancakes, amazing!! Conveniently located by the water and short walk to farmers market and church street stores. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Didn't like that it was cashless

Good points: reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are quiet at night. The gym is well equipped and open 24hrs. It’s in a good location to explore the area.

The room was clean. The location of the hotel was convenient. The charges were exorbitant. Our "lake view" room was on level two and only allowed a view of the trees in Battery Park. When we inquired at the desk about the view, we were told we were assigned a "partial lake view" room which probably meant in the winter when there were no leaves on the trees. Having booked a "lake view" room on July 5th for a stay Aug 15-17 for our 46th anniversary, we were very disappointed!

The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful!

The lake view was superb, nice big room, comfy bed, quiet city. Very central location.

The room was nice and the lake view was great. The bathroom was tight and the lighting in the whole room was a bit dark. Overall, the desk staff were fine. There’s music in the on site restaurant that carries through the lobby.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The main benefit of this hotel is its location right on the waterfront and near Church Street. It is very walkable. We stayed with our 7mo puppy and the hotel was accommodating. The outdoor pet area isn’t very large but it worked for our needs. The rooms could use some updating as there was definitely wear, but this could be related to a pet specific room. Our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain from the first day. An employee came to look at it but never followed up so we dealt with that all week. Parking is a fee each night but you do get coupons for food at the hotel. The hotel has bikes for complementary rental which we used on the island line trail. We did run into unhoused persons near the hotel but did not have any issues..the hotel has keycard access points for security.

Coffee station on each floor was awful. Food at Skiff was bad. Prices were too high

Great location, bikes available

Staff was excellent. Lobby and restaurant renovations are excellent and rooms were close. Cleaning could have been a little better in the bathroom but overall very good. Highly recommend overall.
