Sonesta ES Suites Burlington VT

The property was very clean. Staff were very helpful. Non working AC was not exactly a deal breaker because the main window can be opened to let the cool air in. Overall good experience staying there.

Location. Pool was closed. Room was very dirty, no toilet paper, sink broken, key cards didn’t work, dishes dirty no soap or cleaning clothes, no extra blankets or pillows, pull out was dirty with popcorn and left over candy in it, shower dispensers didn’t work, holes in walls, grimy. Staff spoke broken English, hard to understand. Free Breakfast was out of coffee, poor quality food, bagels were old. Stayed years ago and loved it, it’s gone to disarray.

Everything is dirty in there. The floor was not clean, the bed had orange stains on it, the bath tub also had yellow-ish stains all over it and it was really nasty! The kitchen sink also had red stains all over it. I do NOT recommand at all. It was nasty. It’s too expensive for what it is. I didn’t even slept there. They didn’t want to refound me nor did expedia.

Room was clean and spacious not cramped and had all the amenities one could ask for.

Clean & comfortable suite. Nice decor, & cool artwork over the fireplace! Pleasant & always helpful staff, and good breakfast choices.

Location wasn't far from things We had to have them switch the room first room had blood on the bed smelt like mold shower leaking roofs both water stain and in kitchen paneling falling down

The bed was comfortable and we got a good night sleep The hot tub was colder than an outdoor pool. The room smelled terrible when we checked in we had to go buy a diffuser so that we could stand it. We booked a room with a fireplace which cost more, but you have to pay extra to use it. Booking said premium movie channels and the TV had about 12 local channels only that did not even come in clear. When checking out I asked to speak to someone and was told I can write a review online, but there’s no one available for me to speak to. It took four tries before I finally get a card to be able to call someone about our stay. Still waiting on a callback.

The bathrooms ceiling was showing moisture damage, and tub stained and rusted!? The carpets were stained, the bedding lacked. ( No sheets for pullout couch, or pillows for it.) The pool was cold and the hot tub is broken. The food was decent AND free breakfast! The kitchen is lacked accessories if you wanted to cook-in the kitchenette!

Not much! Shower heads were good, lots of hot water. Location was good for what we were doing. Most everything! Entire property was run down, dirty, in need of repair. The only clean and neat area was the breakfast area. We moved rooms three times. Once due to mold, once due to location not appropriate for person with disabilities. The last room was also a bit moldy. When cleaning happened it was superficial. Lightbulbs not changed. Carpet although vacuumed superficially was not clean. Our feet got dirty. The grounds needed lots of attention-weeding, mulching, trash picked up. Washer-dryer didn’t always work. The parent company should be embarrassed about this property. Perhaps at one time it was a nice place, not now.

I forgot to check the shower after checking in, shower had no pressure, just a little drop of the head strait down against the wall (room 323) which is a major problem the next morning..... There were garbage bags outside the rooms which I though would be picked up later on as it was about the time they were cleaning the rooms....unfortunately they were still there the next morning.... Lots of room for improvement !

The staffs were super helpful getting extra pillows or a hairdryer. However the swimming pool water was cold. That I didn't like.

The bed was excellent. The AC in my room was excellent but it seemed my thermostat was not actually the thing controlling the temperature. On the grounds of the property, trash was not picked up often. The carpet was stained and tub showed aging. The included breakfast was awful. I'd rather have only coffee in the room with a slightly lower price.
