Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. The property is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, 1,000 feet above sea level, in peaceful open countryside. Our rooms are spacious and individually furnished. In addition to the 'Master Suite' - a luxurious four poster bedded room - there are 6 double / twin bedrooms and a two room suite in the main house. We have a total of 13 more rooms available in converted former outbuildings, known as our Courtyard and Garden rooms. The rooms all have Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a silent fridge & are en-suite. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the courtyard & garden rooms at no additional charge. Our restaurant serves traditional yet modern food & our menu is changed on a daily basis. In the bar, there is a choice of real ales, guest beers and a highly commended wine list.

Charming small country hotel in a great location. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. The bedrooms were dog friendly but the main hotel was not. Therefore could not make use of the bar, restaurant or lounges. Breakfast with a dog is in a greenhouse! Most properties do accommodate a small indoor area for dogs, so it was a shame.

Just an extremely run establishment with every member of staff we encountered doing a great job. Surprise pack lunch provided every day all inclusive . Bathroom to die for with subdued lighting automatically turning on as you entered! nothing

Food was amazing, staff very attentive, location lovely and near a fab pub next door and a village nearby. Room was nice with a comfy bed lovely bathroom. Drinks were a bit expensive

I've stayed at Biggin several times and love it. We had an upgrade to a beautiful room which had been newly refurbished. In fact the dining space was brighter too. The food, wine and staff are also excellent It was perfect

Breakfast was excellent - all cooked freshly to order with a great choice. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Packed lunch on both days was an unusual but lovely touch. The WiFi was a bit patchy made worse by the lack of phone signal (not a hotel issue) but not a particular problem for our stay - nice to be out of touch sometimes!

The location, food and service were very good The bed in room 19 squeaks very loudly. This needs addressing urgently as wakes you up.

An ancient lodging house which has been converted to a modern and well run country hotel. Very well restored. My room was spotlessly clean and finished to a high level, if somewhat compact. The water pressure in the shower was terrible!!
