Hôtel des Arcades de Cachan Grand Paris Sud

Poor breakfast especially by Paris standards. Room was really small. Hallways smelled of old smoke.

Related to the breakfast, We were disappointed. The dishes were not cleaned well: the plates, the cutlery, the cups for coffees had traces of coffee inside, and also, the glasses were not very clean ; once I found eggshell scraps on a "cleaned plate". For 6 days as we stayed, we had the same meal and always the boild eggs served were cold, not boiled that day.

I didn't like the photos of the hotel at all it was when I inaguro is destroyed and very bad smell in the corridors the super dirty carpet. I chose this hotel because of the air conditioning when we arrived it had air conditioning but it didn't work I took 2 rooms and they couldn't change me because the whole hotel the airs didn't work they are selling something that doesn't exist they cheated on me, everything very dirty and very bad smell in the corridors and the dirty carpets I never go anymore it was very bad experience I never recommend it.

Very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Just a 10 min walk from train station and 20 minutes away from paris. Great Deal

The doorpumps on the door to the rooms and other facilities (staircases etc) are set in such a way that the doors bang really loudly when they close. Since people are coming and going at all hours the door banging woke me up several times during the night.

Adjacent free parking. Great value. When I checked out, the on duty person indicated I owed nothing. I asked again, for I knew I owed tax etc and for a meal. He again said “everything paid.” I assumed it was somehow paid via Booking. I had to get to the airport and didn’t have time to argue. A couple hours later I get an email asking me to pay the rest but there is no online payment potential. This is a problem to France from the US.

The staff were so friendly : Amal, Hawari, Bashir, and all others. The hotel is clean and tidy The bus station for 187 and 184 are near the hotel. The RER B metro station is only 12 min walk from thd hotel. Aichan supermarket is just 5 min from thd hotel. Cachan is peaceful city near paris. None.

The bed wasn’t really comfortable and it was also overpriced for its facilities but it was last minute booking for us.

It is a correct hotel in Cachan. Good for a business trip. It was clean. I specially like it does not have a carpet in the room, which is uasually dirty in most of the hotels. Of course, it is not a charming hotel, but it does not pretend to be one either. Diner was acceptable

Large comfy bed, elevator, breakfast option available. Good budget style stay, Parking was blocked off due to road construction (no fault of hotel) but would have been nice to know before booking

Although it is named a hotel restaurant, the restaurant offer limited meal choices for dinner and seems no service for weekend. The room is not big but acceptable, the air con is installed inside the room, it is automate stop/start when the temperature up or under the preset degree, so the sound of the wind come and go from time to time that distorted my sleeping in 1st night until I get used to it.
