Glad it was just a stopover for one night! It was pretty run down with stain pillows, old carpet, mouldy joints in the shower. The photos on the site don't reflect the real condition. Lots of noise in the street with drunk people going to the shop opposite opened till 5am

This small hotel is very well located for historic sites and for shopping and markets. The breakfast is served communally and is good - fresh bread and croissants every day with ham and cheese, yogurt, fruit , hot drinks and fresh orange juice. The staff were very helpful, giving me directions for places I wanted to go to in the city and supplying a fan, iron and ironing board. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Safe area, I walked around by myself at all hours of the day and night without problems, also within walking distance of the tram to the bus and train station where you can get connections to Paris and other cities. I found the WIFI difficult to log into but the staff helped me and resolved everything.

Very simple pleasant hotel. Nice comfortable bed, shower worked well. Plenty of documentation, wifi worked well for our needs Key in a key box. Good brasserie on the square nearby, with plenty of seating outside. No lift although we did not expect one!

Overall, the interior of the room is decent. However the corridor and staircases need renovation to bring it up to at least a good standard. I did not like the smell on the corridor. The regular cleaning of my room. The staff members did very well in keeping the room tidy

This is a very charming little hotel in a very convenient location. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Caen.

Back in time very rustic and comfy The chocolate i got from UK we cannot find it in our room.The first day we checked in i am bringing it sadly Wednesday i want to eat some chocolates i never seen it at all. The chocolate is from M&S pistacio
