The renovated rooms and the breakfast The receptionist on check in - not very welcoming

Everything especially the kind and helpful staff! Nothing.

Clean, quiet, comfortable , centrally located. Nr train station, so it was easy as possible to walk my 2 large suitcases across the street. Nr part of the verse St Jaques de Compostelle. Helpful staff. Nice lounge area and breakfast on offer. The staff was kindly able to hold my luggage and allowed me to stay in the lounge to continue my research , until my friend came to pick me up at 3pm the next afternoon. It wasn't terrible but there is ongoing remodeling of exterior, so men on scaffolding outside my window in the morning and stairwell is being remodeled. The room was brand new, with well placed lighting and plugs. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for me.

Also, though they are renovating, the part of the hotel that is in use is very clean and well set up for travelers. My room was spacious, clean and well- appointed. (There's an elevator to upper floors.) You can pay a bit extra for a breakfast buffet. And I was able to order a snack and drink in the evening when most of the city's faster food places were closed. I enjoyed my quiche and kir sitting in the quiet, attractive lounge. There's also a nice- looking outdoor patio. All went smoothly and the staff were very accommodating. Definitely recommend Brit Hotel!

Across the street from the train station! The staff was super nice and accommodating! I was able to do everything I intended there with ease! The bed was super comfy! They are under renovation so the elevator was out of service but it was just two flights of stairs. Also, wish I could get the water hotter, it was warm and nice but I like it hot! Maybe it was user error so I won’t pin it on them!

The hotel was undergoing renovations.. The shower was dirty.
-
It was clean and comfortable Major reconstruction going on which made it noisy and a bit hectic.
-
Proximity to the train station Front desk staff and kitchen staff Wonderful breakfast Wonderful air conditioning! Black mold in the ceiling of the shower. Wires dangling from the ceiling in the hallways. Lack of any renovations in the room in at least 60+ years.

Perfect
-
Clean bad and very close to Cahors train station Furnitures and bathroom needs to be renovated. The hotel is under construction that is why I am not making any comments about the situation of the building
-
Simple motel, close to train station which is what we needed for early train and a Boulangerie up the street to get salad or sand which for the train. Simple hotel, did have a 13euro buffet breakfast which is probably worth it.

The bed, the linens, and the pillows!!!!! The hotel is under renovation and I hope they can bring it up to the level of the staff! From front desk check in to the young man managing a limited but well stocked and refurbished buffet breakfast - the staff over rode the challenges of working under construction. Construction conditions are never pleasant, but didn't overwhelm the hospitality and value. It is a 2nd/3rd tier facility - small rooms, old and worn, but blocks from the rail station and the famous landmark, the Valentri Bridge, after which the hotel is named.

Very conveniently located and close to the city center.
-
The location is great and close to everything I needed to do. Normally they offer parking but because of renovations the lot was closed. However it was very easy to find parking directly across the street. Breakfast is good and lots of it. Very friendly staff

best breakfast buffet, on my so far week roadtrip
-
Great breakfast The hotel was undergoing renovation works which meant that it was not as comfortable as usual. I have stayed here many times before and that is the only reason for a lower score this time.

Parking, WiFi and takes pets. In easy walking distance of the centre for restaurants and bars Nothing really

Very good

Good welcome by staff. Great secure parking. Easy walk into town. We would definitely use again, but have breakfast elsewhere! The breakfast was a waste of money. We paid 24€ for 2 people, and I reckon whole of the food on display was less value!!

Staff very helpful Hotel needs a lot of refurbishment, very tired looking. Room size was ok, Was not impressed with breakfast, could not even get a slice of toast, no suitable bread. Coffee machine did not work properly. Could not get either Vodka or Gin in the bar, did not have any.
