Amazing hospitality

Perfect location and nice kitchen.

Herbert is high energy in a good way. Very engaging and helpful with tourist information. Rooftop terrace has scenic views.

- There's a kitchen with most of the tools that you'll need to prepare your own food if you like. - The couple that run the apartment was very nice, accessible(by phone) and helpful regarding information about attractions and points of interest. (FYI they barely know English). - There are big lockers - There was one shower that had warm water most of the time - The shower-bathrooms could use some organizing and a bit more cleaning and some renovation to the hot water shower - The 6 bed room was a bit stuffy

Super friendly and helpful host who is genuinely lovely. Small hostel vibes, but a great place to meet other travellers. Clean well equipped kitchen and terrace. Close to centre. A little difficult to find, it's located in an alleyway off the main street, so make sure you message the host for the directions. Not a fault, just worth knowing. ?

The owner is so sweet and very passionate about showing the activities around Cajamarca 2 days of lukewarm shower but my last day had the nicest hot shower :)

A very nice place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hot water, a clean bathroom, soap and a toilet paper in the bathroom. A practical kitchen. Tea is provided by the hostel. A very good value for money. ?? There is a bit of space above doors so you can hear noise from a common space but it wasn't anything terrible. But for the future you can fill the empty space, it would be better ?. You can make a better sign of your hostel because on the first time I didn't notice it ??.

Really lovely couple that help you with EVERYTHING. They are like sweet grandparents.

Very nice owner/managers. Nice kitchen. Nice 5th floor rooftop terrace. 15 minute walk to plaza. 3 blocks to public transportation, to Banos Incas. A few too many stray dogs in the neighborhood. Definitely too much barking at times with all dogs.

I liked the owner and the location. The rooms were nice and the owner was very helpful. It was not the cleanest. The shower and kitchen were not regularly cleaned.

Herbert is a lovely person who makes you feel like at home. The hostel has a kitchen and everything you need. Muchas gracias por todo!

The bed was comfortable and the location seemed decent. The owner was helpful over the phone when I could get hold of him. I was left waiting outside in the dark for 25 minutes, despite them knowing when I would be arriving. This is particularly worrying when you’re a woman travelling alone. No one answered the bell and the owner wasn’t picking up his phone. Eventually a lady let me in when she was leaving to take her dog out. No staff around when I wanted to check out, so I had to request via text to leave the money somewhere. It was very dirty and looked like it’s rarely cleaned, and one of the beds hadn’t been remade despite it being 7:30pm.

Herbert and Hilda are so nice and welcoming! Very helpful and super friendly, I felt like home. The roof tarrace is amazing and a very chill area. Would definitely recommend it and come back. Plaza de Armas, Central Market, Bus is easy reachable by foot. Mototaxi from Terminal Terrestre 5-7 Soles.

Spacious room, well-equipped kitchen, hot water in the shower, good wi-fi, nice common area, and the Owner who was very hospitable, attentive and have us some advice what to see in the surrounding area.
