Very friendly staff, nice rooms and pool, good location

Breakfast. Room was small and no place to put your luggage. Whatever the perfume or air scent they had going was not good.

Staff was very nice and helpful, easy to talk to. Place is clean and comfortable, location is good.

The staff was always friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet The rooms had very thin walls so you could hear every talk from your neighbor. When they showered, it sounded like your bed was in the middle of the rainforest with a lot of noise from the water. The hotel looked nice, however only superficially. The renovation was rather poor than properly done. After the room was cleaned, we found black long hair in the bathroom. The shower was not working properly, the water only came out from a few holes from the ceiling part, which was either due to lack of cleaning or it was already broken. However, on our last day they put a new piece which is nice and it worked properly, however, I expect a hotel to check the facilities BEFORE a room is given to people. The terrace had a nice size but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The floor, the chairs, the table, everything full of dirt. There was also no light anywhere. The view to the “garden” was more a view to a few stones. Also, there was no possibility to hang wet towels or swimming stuff when you came from the beach.

Would definitely recommend. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The pool area is very peaceful. A really lovely place to stay if you are looking for somewhere a little quieter but still convenient to the beaches, restaurants and shops. One suggestion would be to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but otherwise no complaints!

Sweet hotel close to the beach area. Well maintained and great staff.
-
The fact that our rooms balcony had no cover while other rooms had cover on their balcony.
-
The beds were rock hard and they only offered one pillow per person that was very flat.

Breakfast had a good selection of products. Hotel staff would also prepare eggs upon request. Staff was very friendly and gave us some tips on where to go. The area is very peaceful and very close to the beach. Pillows were not great, we had to ask for two more but I still had some trouble with them. Mattress was very comfy on the other hand. Also, bedsheets were not big enough for the mattress. The toilet was a bit smelly but luckily there was a window in the bathroom. From our room on the first floor, we could hear the music from downstairs which isn’t great for those who want to have an early night.

This was easiy the worst hotel we have stayed in. My partner has moblility issues particularly involving stairs. Imagine our horror to discover on arrival that we were allocated a room on the second floor and there was no lift. ¨Sorry, theres nothing I can do about it¨ said the very unhelpful receptionist. We were assured that the fact that there was no lift was stated on the website. Actually it is but it is in the terms and conditions as opposed to in the glowing description of the hotel and its amenities. A lesson learnt, look for what is not stated as opposed to what is stated. Having settled in to our tiny second floor room we decided to explore the local eateries. There are two within easy walking distance if you exclude the prohibitively expensive one just up the road. Both the others were excellent except that one closed their kitchen at 4pm and both shut one day a week. Any other optios involved a steep climb up 30-40 steps or a drive. Not an option for us. Even the beach, which was beautiful involved steep steps. The hotel did indeed have a bar area, lounge and terrace but, because there was no catering available other than breakfast, very few people used these facilities so there was no atmosphere. To be fair to at least one member of staff managed to move us from the second floor to the first floor, so only one staircase to negotiate. That was on day 4 of a 14 night stay. On day 13, whilst we were enjoying a lunch at one of the two accessible bar/restaurants we received a text from the hotel announcing that we had overstayed our booking and were to be charged 50 euros for a late check out. It was only after we returned to the hotel to prove our 14 day booking that we were permitted to stay for our alloted time and the poor people who were due to check into our room were diverted to a sister hotel in a different town. I keep referring to the ¨hotel¨. This should read ¨hostal¨because that is what it was and still remains.
