Myself and my wife stayed there for US visa interview. This building is located just in front of the Embassy. we can see the queue from the verandh. As we reached late at night, the guard welcomed us and showed our room. Helped us to find dinner in the restaurant located in the ground floor of the building. The staffs were very polite and humble.The break fast was simple and good served fresh. The room was very clean and had an vintage look. Neat and crisp no extra value addition to an 100yr old building. The area was quite & clean. As the lift in the building is old one, it will not work if the collapsible doors (grill) are not closed properly by the passenger who used it early. so we have to climb the stairs(Just one floor) to reach our hotel in the first floor.

The room was as advertised: very spacious, thoughtfully done up, generally clean. The lighting is lovely. The bathroom was clean and large too. Well-stocked fridge, tea/coffee things and a working flat-screen TV. Very helpful and welcoming staff. The breakfast wasn't bad. The lift doesn't work. One has to climb to the 2nd floor through a poorly kept and dingy staircase. Atmospheric for sure, but not a great experience at all hours of the day. That really took away from the experience. The beds and towels should have been more carefully cleaned. I would've liked a firmer mattress.

Loved how the property was secluded and intimate. It gave a glimpse into the history of Calcutta while being super comfortable. The staff were courteous and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good and tasty and the cook made foods to our request. I highly recommend the stay! The lift was a bit unsafe.

Very little for my requirements: the air conditioner was a a tad clunky and had a touch of that "old air conditioner" smell, but not problematically so; I wouldn't have minded a small dresser for a 9 day stay, but i appreciated the large packing table unit in the front of the bathroom.

Staff are very helpful and kind. Location is central. Breakfast was tasty. Art collection was a bonus.

Everything went like clockwork. My style of property. Old world Charm. I would love to stay here again if I should revisit & the price is right. Thanks Booking.com for the pop up that said to me'try this property'. Nothing. Liked everything on offer. The Dining room staff were excellent.

Entrance part is very dirty. Very old building. Lift is old fashioned. No such reception where you can talk or ask for anything

The Harrington Residency is a gem of a find - small, clean, excellent staff who served delicious breakfasts the 3 days we were there. Extremely safe location. Near to shops and restaurants. The building is a leftover legacy from the British days as is the rickety elevator ! But that added to the ambiance of the place. It may not be everyone's cup of tea!

Amazing place and great service. Staying in an art gallery is special. Very chilled out place. Great location, right at the heart of Kolkata. Highly recommended. Entrance and the lift can be very off putting.

Beautiful house, perfect location which is central but relatively quiet. The housekeeper was very helpful providing an umbrella and pointing to a nice place to eat. It was reasonable clean and had a nice freshly baked breakfast. Ac leaked water on the bed

It is located just opposite to US Consulate and a secured zone. The building is a heritage and the Harrington team are very cordial and warm. Thanks for your hospitality.

A good, safe starting point for Kolkata, excellently located in the Park Street area. Nice shared balcony/gallery, with comfortable seats to relax. Good breakfast. The rooms lack a little charm, therefore a little overpriced. A sign at the entrance to the multi-purpose building would be useful.
